Perfect Place for a Family Visiting for Western Graduation

House is beautiful, clean and spacious with 4 bedrooms and a pullout couch. It was perfect for our whole family when we visited for WWU graduation. Kitchen is well-stocked and the primary bathroom has a lovely soaking tub. This is one of the nicest VRBO properties we have rented!

Wonderful family getaway

We had 8 people stay during Christmas and absolutely enjoyed the home. It was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of dishes and equipment to cook holiday dinner. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the hosts went above and beyond to treat us with little welcome gifts. I would absolutely stay again. One of the nicest rentals we’ve done.

Family get away retreat

My family spent New Years here. The host was extremely accommodating and the place was absolutely gorgeous. We spent our days exploring Bellingham, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, and spending quality family time on the large couch. There were 8 of us and we fit pretty well!

Perfect!

We used this beautiful home as a base for college visits, daffodil sighting, and snow boarding at Baker. There was something for everyone in our multi-generation group. Plenty of space and privacy. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Beautiful stars on clear nights! I hope to come back.

Family Gathering

We've enjoyed many VRBOs, this one is outstanding. The house is beautifully outfitted with many thoughtful amenities, very comfortable beds and bedding, fabulous kitchen/family room with lots of natural light, large couch and chairs that provided plenty of seating, over-sized TV, and for this home-cook the kitchen was a treat. We explored Bellingham, Birch Bay, local lakes and hikes. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay! And not least, communication with our host was excellent.

Large house in the hills

We were pleasantly surprised at how large the house was. The furniture was nice, everything was more or less brand new. Definitely a full time rental property (vs someone’s home), which provides benefits of cleanliness and uncluttered-ness. seems like a very nice neighborhood and gave 4/5 stars for location only because it was a bit difficult to get to with non-4WD car during snow and ice. We felt the rules/instructions were a bit restrictive (water use concern with septic system) and unclear (recycling requirements) but these were very minor; overall had a great experience. The kids loved the place. Extra points for house preparation - everything we needed for cleaning was available, and we encountered a brief area-wide power outage during an ice storm over the holiday and the house had flashlights in each room’s nightstand! overall 5/5
