FANTASTIC LOCATION this property is located in Brewer Maine. Bangor International Airport is 6.5 Miles away. Bar Harbor is 48 Miles away.
This property looks just like a gingerbread house and is 2 Units each Unit is 2000 sq feet and has just been all re done. Walk in and have a over sized living room with a gas fireplace, with a washer and dryer room off the back. Than on the main level you have a brand new kitchen and a office w a extra pull out twin for a guest or a child w a walk in shower. Go up the stairs and you have 3 bed rooms, 2 Queen size beds and 1 king also a brand new bath tub shower combo. 2 of these rooms have river views. 1 bed room has a balcony you can sit and enjoy the sunsets over looking the Penobscot River. Third level is just a sitting / reading area. Property sleeps 7 easy and has enough space to be able to enjoy all the comforts of home. Has plenty of parking if you have family or friends coming to visit.

Beautiful Historic Home

This beautiful old historic home was our “home base” as we explored Bangor/Brewer/Acadia National Park, and the surrounding area. The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms were spacious and charming. The bathrooms were nicely appointed with great showers and lots of hot water, towels and linens. There’s a wonderful guest book that gives points of interest, lists local eateries, etc ~ and we took full advantage of that! There’s a beautiful old Congregational Church with Sunday services at 10:30 am within walking distance that I attended; the people were so welcoming and the sanctuary was gorgeous. We were busy exploring the area but also found time to enjoy the home’s amenities, one of which was a wonderful upstairs deck overlooking the Penobscot River where we had a little social/happy hour together one afternoon. The host is very responsive to any questions or needs ~ would stay here again, and I highly recommend! ~ Joan

Northeastern Maine Stay

Pros- spacious, wifi, comfortable beds, easy check in and out, good location, quiet, leather couch in living room that reclines, 4 bedrooms, some appliances and rooms are new or newly remodeled, motion lights in key areas of house, front porch, one room has ita own balcony. Cons- Upstairs balcony door would not close and therfore would not lock. Wasn't that easy to find cleaning supplies and extra items such as paper towels and kitchen towels. Unsure if comforters and blankets are being washed after every guest. The living room could use more furniture- footstools, chairs with arm rest, side tables. The cost- for 6 nights stay we paid the mortgage for the entire house.

Great Stay!

Stayed with friends for a wedding. Several people in one property and there was more than enough space and we werent tripping all over each other. Two bathrooms were amazing in meeting our groups needs. Would recommend. Josh was super responsive and accomodating. 5 stars. Would recommend!

Central Location

New owners so can’t wait to see the improvements they’ll make when we come again, we’d be happy to stay here. Checkout is quite early compared to other properties we’ve stayed. Hoping a kitchen table is added as it was difficult for 7 adults to mingle in the kitchen during dinner.

My Name is Kristin I have grown up in the Brewer area most of my life. I have had rental properties off and on over the years. I love reading in the rental books and getting to learn a little bit about the different guest, and what they did while they were in the area.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in the family for years and I just bought it a few months ago and worked on getting it ready to be able to rent it Air B & B so people had a safe clean place with all the comforts of home. It is a fantastic location no matter what your plan is for your visit. Close to the Airport also not fair to the 2 Local Hospitals. Only a hour from Bar Harbor.

What makes this property unique

I tried to make sure a lot of thought went into this property, what would someone need or want. All the staple items are here that you can stay right in and cook or you are in town you can go to dinner or have dinner delivered. Home has 2 heat pumps for heat and AC also has oil heat as well as a new gas fireplace. I want you to be happy and content for your stay. The Penobscot River is a nice view to be able to sit out and read a book sip coffee and look at the stunning sunsets.
