Athens Greece Apartment

The apartment was as described on the posting. The unit was clean and spacious. The area the unit is located in is nice and there is a grocery store a block away which made getting supplies easy. The host was easy to make contact with and was quick to respond to questions. The unit is not real close to the main attractions in Athens, but you can easily get an Uber for around 5.00 - 10:00 USD to take you to the city center, depending on the time if day. The washer was a plus, as Athens was experiencing record high temperatures when we were there, so being able wash clothes was a plus.

Perfect Location and accommodations

We were in walking distance of the Acropolis--about a 20-minute walk. The Hop-on/Hop-off bus was also in the same area in the Center of town. The apartment was just as advertised and we would stay there again. I wish there was a microwave but other than that, it was perfect.

Innenstadtnähe

Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass wir den Aufenthalt in dem Ap sehr genossen haben, aber vorweg, es ist extrem laut mit 24/7 Verkehr, da direkt an der Stadtautobahn. Der riesige Balkon wurde deshalb von uns leider nicht benutzt… Wir waren zu 5. dort, die Schlafzimmer sind zweckmäßig, der Wohn- Essbereich ist sehr geräumig wie die Küche auch. Die Ausstattung des Ap ist total in Ordnung. Sehr gut hat uns die Nähe zu allen möglichen Sehenswürdigkeiten gefallen, in knapp 20 min kann man zu Fuß fast alles erreichen. Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Supermarkt mit allem, was man so braucht (So zu) und auch Essensmöglichkeiten sind schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Da ich sehr geplant bin, hätte ich mir gewünscht, schon bei der Buchung zu erfahren, dass genaue Infos zum Check- In erst einen Tag vor Ankunft erfolgen. Auch in der Wohnung selbst hätten wir uns etwas mehr Infos gewünscht, so war zum Bsp. die Erklärung, wie man an heißes Wasser kommt, unzureichend und so ganz anders als in D. Hier haben wir aber am späten Abend noch umgehend Support erhalten, was man sich aber wie gesagt durch bessere Erläuterung sparen könnte. Es sind einige kleinere Reparaturen durchzuführen, das haben wir so auch weitergegeben und hoffen für Nachfolger, dass es auch ausgeführt wird… Außerdem wäre es für uns gut gewesen, nicht nur einen Schlüssel zu haben, da ein Teil unserer Gruppe abends mal länger unterwegs sein wollte…
