Guest access
Bathrooms:
- You will have access to the 1.5 bathrooms here. The shower is in the upstairs bathroom and the downstairs bathroom is a Jack-and-Jill style with the second door leading to the game room!

Game Room:
- The game room has a ping pong table with all the equipment needed. Feel free to also use the pool table underneath although due to usage and time, isn’t the best condition. We will be replacing soon enough. We also have a dart board and several board games on the tables.

Kitchen:
- The kitchen has plenty of cooking supplies if you plan to use the stove top to cook. Just check the drawers and chances are the item exists where you think it should be.

** Hot Tub **:
-** THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR HOT TUB USE DURING YOUR STAY due to routine deep cleaning after guest visits. (Minimum fee of $75 for a 1-day stay, but could be higher depending on time of year, amount of guests, and length of stay.) Must coordinate with hosts before arrival. Hot tub jets/pumps/temperature are monitored through smart system.)**
- We routinely clean out the hot tub water, and filters. However we kindly ask that if guests use the hot tub to pour a cap-full of shock and chlorine into the filter with the pump on after use. These bottles are sitting near the hot tub. We also kindly ask that guests put the hot tub cover back on top in the condition in which it was found, securely held down with the weighted bags to protect from the wind. This is all to prevent any damage and to prolong its usage during and after your stay.
- We will provide additional towels for hot tub use. These are located in the downstairs bathroom. Guests are encouraged to bring any additional towels if desired.
Other things to note
- This is NOT a party cabin. Please be mindful.

- We kindly ask that NO pets of any kind are brought to this property. Owners and users of this property and land have high allergies to dog fur. (Health concern). We kindly ask that you respect this.

- This is a lightly weather beaten rustic cabin in the desert mountains. We have refurbished quite a bit around the place. In addition to having cleaners, we also personally clean a lot around the cabin. It's a constant upkeep! There may be a bit of dust or dirt around but that's just the nature of the desert mountains in a cabin!

- Note that there are two motion detection security cameras on the garage facing the driveway and on the front of the cabin facing the road coming in. These overlook and monitor the driveway and parking area only.

- Please be mindful of your speed limit when driving along the dirt roads and overall neighborhood! The roads can be both bumpy and windy in addition to being steep and narrow in the last leg of your journey to the top of the ridge and cabin! Bigger cars handle the road nicer than smaller cars for sure, but even smaller cars can usually navigate the dirt roads here easily, especially in the dry season (spring, summer, and fall). Just use a bit of caution.
WINTER MOUNTAIN ROADS DISCLAIMER:
For winter, it is recommended you drive jeeps, trucks, and other 4-wheel drive vehicles in the mountain roads, including our dirt mountain road. In the absolutely worst road conditions during winter time, the local roads may require snow tires. In fact, some of the local roads won't let you on unless you have 4x4 vehicle AND snow chains, but this is rare and usually following a snow storm. Several steeper roads in the mountains including Mountain High ski resort require snow chains throughout winter. Please check the weather and check with us before arriving for conditions if need be. If need be, there is a Hardware store right in town that sells snow tires.

- Please consider bringing out any recyclables, trash, & food waste you bring in. We do NOT have local garbage services here. If you are unable to transport out what you brought in, please please please use our recycling and garbage cans that are clearly labeled.

Peace and Relaxation with beautiful views

I was looking for a few days of solitude and relaxation and found that at the cabin. The remoteness was an appeal for me and I loved the time to just be by myself. Area is beautiful and I could easily find enjoyable activities as I desired, but mostly I just wanted to stay in. The cabin was very comfortable and had all the creature comforts needed. The host was extremely helpful and communicative and answered every question quickly and efficiently. It was an amazing time. thank you!

Best hidden gem!

We’ve stayed at a lot of different properties in Wrightwood, and this was by far our favorite. The game room was the perfect space for our kids- they were not on screens the entire time we were there!! It has a cozy cabin feel, and has all the necessities we needed. The host was wonderful and we will definitely be booking again! Also the space was bigger than it looks from the photos- overall a great experience.

The high life, baby! Wow, what a view 15 mins. from Mountain High!!

My wife, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our six-night stay here. Such a relaxing getaway from work and city life. Huge pluses for us included the hot tub, numerous charging lines for tablets/phones, washer/dryer, big beds, available streaming TV channels, pool table, darts, MASSAGE CHAIR (YESSSS), EV charger, etc. The hosts quickly replied to Vrbo emails and we had zero issues. You'll want a 4x4 or chains if there's snow--steep dirt incline to cabin.Highly recommend. Thanks!

This is the only place I'll ever stay when visiting

For me, it is the perfect place to stay. Its location is on a ridgeline, which makes for an incredible and (at times) breathtaking drive to the cabin. Once you arrive, the cabin itself is one treasure discovery after another. I can't speak highly enough about the space. I visited in July, so it was a little warm during peak daytime, but that's just more incentive to sit on the patio or in one of the two hammocks. I got to meet a couple of distant relatives of some birds I see in my backyard, which was pretty remarkable as well. The cabin is situated for maximum comfort and relaxation. There's a hot tub, a massage chair, pool table, many games, hot tub, darts, and the aforementioned hammocks. This place checked all the boxes for me and the host was such a nice guy who genuinely cared about our experience. 10 out of 10 and I haven't even talked about the views from up there! The sunrises are phenomenal and the sunsets are really great, too.
