About this property

The VIEW! Private Campsite By New River Gorge Park

Now featuring lighted signage for easy night time arrivals. Firewood is available, instructions sent upon booking. The mushroom trail is now open and free to all guests. It features over 60 different giant mushrooms, giant flowers, DoDo Bird families and a large natural sandbox to give your little ones something to do. Giant connect 4 + Corn hole boards and bags are also on site and free to use.

This ultra private property is located only 10 minutes off interstate 77 and 19 miles from New River Gorge Park. There is only one farm past ours so traffic is very minimal. Plenty of room to do what you and your pets want to do while exploring on our 60 acres. Come enjoy the view and recharge and relax in peace and quiet. The sun rises up behind the view and lets you see just a little further. It is magical and one of the best things this mountain has to offer. It will not disappoint. We can accommodate up to a 35ft RV. The best part is no long walk for the best views! You can park at the campsites and camp on flat ground. Each campsite features a bench and a camp cooktop. Nothing is needed to use the cook tops other than a campfire. The area has many parks, rivers and trails for fly fishing, kayaking, biking, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, and photography, etc. View stars as only those miles away from any light can experience. The crickets and whippoorwills will sing you to sleep. Google link, trail map, and campsite location map will be emailed the day of arrival.

A space to breathe
Absolutely stunning views! Very clean property. Would absolutely stay here again. Owers have put a lot of work into the property and have made it into a beautiful spot to unwind and relax. Just pull up to the site you want and enjoy!

Great stop for the night. Beautiful views
One night on the way to OBX. Great place with awesome touches from swinging bench, safe fire pit (ours had a new toasting fork provided) and additional seating. Plenty of space! Only one other couple and guests in a cabin above. Never saw the host or spoke with others. We must have been there the day before the month portapotty cleaning- could have been a bit tidier. No complaints! Would recommend location to my own daughters as safe stay. Worth it! Slept great, there's a whippoorwill that likes to serenade guests lol. We want to find out how to rent the cabin!

Great View!
We stayed there over the Bridge Celebration weekend after not being able to find a reasonable priced hotel room. It was as expected, tent camping, and had the place to ourselves. Great large camping area, not far from anything! Communication was great, just a good place to stay!

Mountain View
Really enjoyed my stay here. The view alone was worth the price. Spacious campsite with nice fire pit on a gravel circle. Anthony was quick to respond and offer help. Free firewood was a nice touch, although I did not use it.

Beautiful spot!
We had a great stay. We knew it would be raining this morning so we were well prepared for it. We had a nice fire last night and went into town to have pizza and beer at Weathered Ground Brewery. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property!
