Welcome to the Campout on El Campo. This Bungalow is the perfect place for a couples getaway, girls weekend, families, rodeo fans or TCU parents/alums heading in for the game!

Property amenities include, parking, large covered outdoor area with dining table, firepit and TV, Blackstone griddle, spacious yard.

At night, this property becomes the perfect place to entertain or an easy walk home from concerts, shopping, dining, or bar hopping.

We are ready to greet you with rustic-modern finishes, fresh linens, and a warm cup of coffee from the Keurig.

El Campo offers 2 parking spots in driveway and 2 permitted street spots, why pay for Rodeo or Dickies Arena parking when its only a ½ mile walk?

The Campout on El Campo is located in the center of everything DFW has to offer!

DFW airport is just 30 minutes away. This property is easy access to Downtown Fort Worth, The Stockyards, the Fort Worth Zoo, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, The Ballpark in Arlington, Cowboys Stadium, Dickies Arena, American Airlines Center, Will Rogers Memorial Center, Clearfork, Trinity River (and trails), Panther Island, the hospital district and much more!
Plus, easy access to see the TCU games, the Rangers, the Cowboys, or NASCAR and only a 30 min drive to Dallas.

My favorite hangout areas are Clearfork, West 7th, Sundance Square where you can discover local breweries and wineries, specialty restaurants, high-end shopping and custom clothing boutiques offering that Fort Worth flair.

The entire home and outdoor area is covered by AT&T Wi-Fi network with the highest speed available and Direct TV stream so you can record your favorite shows.

Washer and Dryer available for use by guests during their stay. This home is drug-free and smoke-free indoors and outdoors including vapes and e-cigarettes. Maximum of 8 guests on property without pre-approval and NO LARGE PARTIES.

Stayed here for a concert. Easy walking distance in nice, safe feeling neighborhood. The home is clean and decorated cute. Everything you need for hanging out and returning to after a day of exploring.

Adorable Home - Just the Right Size!

We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the house very much! Adorable street and very cute house- it was perfect for my family. Backyard and deck are great. Home was clean and cared for. VRBO did not pass along the check-in info so the check-in process was a bit bumpy, but Kerry was able to get it to us after I called. We loved the neighborhood and would for sure stay here again!

Charming Home in Cultural District

This updated home within walking distance of terrific museums and Dickies Arena made for a wonderful stay in the historic Arlington Heights area of Ft. Worth. Surrounded by cute bungalows in a quiet neighborhood, it was the perfect base for exploring the city. The home is close to great restaurants and points of interest. The two bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious, and the house is well decorated. Our host was very communicative and we enjoyed our stay. So much ch better than a hotel!

Perfect for concert goers!

This adorable home is located in a charming little safe and walkable neighborhood that was perfect for my adult daughter and I to stay overnight for the Justin Timberlake concert at Dickies Arena (which was AMAZING!!). The decor is minimalist modern and very comfortable with 2 spacious bedrooms as well as an open floor plan living area. Everything appeared to be well stocked including paper goods and coffee supplies for the Keurig. Easy to navigate to restaurants and shopping with several places to choose from. On a personal note, we had a slight hiccup upon arrival and Kerry was quick to investigate to solve the issue. Would definitely book again!! *One driver beware item - this is an older historic district neighborhood and the driveways are super narrow with very thick curbs, so take care with your rims to avoid curb rash on entering and backing out of the driveway!

Relaxing getaway

Great place to relax. Quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and comfortable.Very convenient to restaurants and botanical gardens. Host was extremely hospitable. One of the best places we've stayed! Would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

Coming from a Rodeo Family, I was born and raised in Fort Worth with strong family ties to the Downtown/Stockyards area.
As a single Mom, I purchased this home to be centrally located for my kids. We love Fort Worth, all it has to offer and the ability to walk everywhere.

Now, Texas High School Football has moved us closer to the Dallas area for a few years. We'd love for others to be able to take advantage of the amenities we've enjoyed. Rest assured, we will be back.....We LOVE You Fort Worth!

What makes this property unique

During renovations I tried to salvage as much of the original character of the home, while incorporating some modern touches everyone desires. This home was originally built in 1937 with no HVAC system and only a wood-burning stove. The oak floors have been refinished and restored, along with the fireplace moldings. Don't worry, we added an HVAC system, covered patio and garage.

Before the days of The World Famous Dickies Arena, we would walk to the Art and Science Museums, Casa Manana & for over 125 years the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo has brought visitors from all over the Country.

We are so grateful to own and love The Campout on El Campo.
