This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath Main Street vacation rental with amazing lake and mountain views from inside and out also has a dock sitting on Mirror Lake Shores, perfect for taking a refreshing dip in the lake, to launch your kayak for a scenic cruise in the summer or to step out and take a turn gliding around the lake on a cleared ice skating path in the winter, just outside your doorstep!

This lovely home features a wall of windows facing the lake and mountains that presents visitors with awe inspiring views and a sun-filled welcoming interior atmosphere for the generous sized open floor plan. There is a living room with plenty of comfy seating, a dining area with table for 4 facing the lake, an eat-in kitchen with breakfast table for 2 and a desk that makes it easy for guests to set up and maintain on-line connections while away. The home is equipped with air conditioners for guest comfort throughout the warmer seasons, there are sliding doors that open onto a deck with Adirondack chairs and the deck stairway leads down to the dock area on MIrror Lake.

Lake placid

Parking is blocks away so you need to find a loading zone to unload car which was a big issue. The entrance to this apartment is disgusting dirty with carpet that needs to be replaced and a coat of fresh paint. Once inside it’s was very nice. The views are spectacular!

Needs work but a great view

Apartment needs a lot of updates. Multiple fans (ceiling and oscillating) did not work, the screen doors barely slid and fell off the tracks, shower is so small and was not very clean. We knew what we were getting into when we booked but were still disappointed. The view is outstanding but we were not very comfortable, especially sleeping and showering.

Spacious apartment in a good location. Not the best airflow circulation and could benefit from more options for AC (ceiling fans in both bedrooms were non functioning). We appreciated the back deck and watching the activity on the lake. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Short Stay

Beautiful view of Mirror Lake but was hard to cool with one AC unit that was not turned on prior to our 87 degree day arrival. Parking arrangement was not good. Had to move vehicle back and forth to load and unload. Had to pay for parking to accomplish this. Auto responses leading up to checking in illude to getting property codes. Did not receive until we stopped at the management company an hour before checking in. Cable only had 3 channels.

The apartment was disappointing. It was cobbled together and I’m guessing not up to building code. We checked in later than we wanted because the entry info wasn’t sent until I called the realtor. The entryway was filthy and had broken window panes.

Apartment was nice. View very nice of Mirror Lake. We had to leave early, I got sick. The unloading and loading was a hassle. We had a problem hooking up wifi and a very nice lady from realty office came and got us connected.

Cute lakeside view condo

We had a great visit to Lake Placid. The only complaint we have about this place is that it constantly smelled like marijuana. At times stronger than others. It made sleeping in the bedrooms and walking into the condo very uncomfortable. The main living area was fine and it was the highlight of this condo since it has the view.

The "little things"

It was an average place. We did have to call for towels as there were not enough for four people. It was fixed before evening. Downtown location was very good. It was disappointing that the master bath shower had been taken out. We were notified of that before we arrived but there was no offer of a discount for the inconvenience. Overall it wasn't the best experience we've had.

The property allows for beautiful balcony views of Mirror Lake and CobbleHill and WhiteFace mountains. Location is great for immediate downtown access and walking all around.
