Enjoyed our stay. The house is in a convenient location and very easy to get to. The owners were accommodating to our needs. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would recommend for small groups.
I’m so glad that I found this place for my family!
Everything was clean and neat when we walked in which was very nice. Beds were comfortable and both rooms were very spacious. It was great being minutes away from Clearwater beach as well! So if you’re looking for a rental that’s kid friendly, this one is it! Easy communication with owners too, response time was quick and helpful. Thank you so much for letting my family stay :)
Depression era house with charm and modern amenities. Great location convenient to Clear Water and Largo alike. Comfortable stay with off street parking and fenced yard for the pets. Would stay there again.
Property clean and comfortable for a group of 6 people. House is located closed to the beach , shopping centers and pharmacies. The Neighborhood is very quiet and property has a good space for parking. Vicky is a very good host and always responded to my texts or phone calls when I had questions. I recommend this house for a family or friends getaway weekend.
My partner and I were disappointed in the space as it wasn’t as advertised. The hosts were helpful in responding to help rectify the situation. Our refund was submitted but never came through which isn’t the hosts fault but Vrbo support has not been helpful at all. We appreciate the hosts responsiveness and attempt to help the situation
My husband and I with our two dogs stayed for 18 nights. During our time we had two of our friends stay with their Bichon dog. We own a bed and breakfast in New York.
The cottage is lovely and has some beautiful and unique qualities as displayed in its size and exposes original wood and wall paper.
It has a lovely enclosed porch that looks on to the street.
There is a stove, refrigerator and a washer/dryer that came in handy for washing laundry. The Airconditioner was also effective in the main areas.
Although the house is well located for a 15 minute drive to the beaches and Dunedin it was not the safest neighborhood to walk around night or day! Unfortunately we encountered a few times American Pit-bulls roaming around the street with no leach or apparent dog parent( this was problematic in one occasion as we were walking our Pomeranian and Jack Russell! A pit bull ran out on us and thankfully we were able to get our dogs into our suv before he could jump into our arms to attack them! Thankfully nothing serious happened but we had to drive our dogs to the park every time we went out. As well as the roaming dogs you never felt safe as there were always guys sitting around on the sidewalk day and night just drinking or smoking marijuana.
The house had a broken lounge chair as well as a shredded Rotan table ( located in the porch) we texted to let the owner know just in case we were held responsible for them.
We also could not assess the house initially due to the instructions given to us; too my combinations/padlocks/keys! The garage gate could not be used as we could never get it to lock properly/ the wheels supporting the pulling gates got stuck in the dirt as the owner failed to install them properly.
We had to purchase two dinning chairs as the four bar stools provided are not fit for purpose. The height of the chairs gave you only about 3 inches for your legs to get under the table( we had to take the two chairs from the bedrooms and the two we bought to sit properly around the table.
We also had to purchase two garden lounge chairs as nothing was provided by the owner!
We also purchased a coffee percolator ( the one provided was a coffee pod and again not fit for purpose); we also had to purchased an electric kettle; and extra mug!
The towel rail in the bathroom was continually falling and you we could not use the tooth brush holders as the shelve above them was too low and slanted.
We left the house cleaner than we found it!
We stayed at this property for a month. Pros: Centrally located to Beaches and Tampa, lovely screened/window front porch, fenced in private yard, hosts were responsive to any problems. Pet friendly with a lake down the street.Cons: Area and neighborhood can be iffy, we saw 2 separate police actions within a quarter mile. Immediate neighbors were good though. House felt secure. Missing back yard furniture.
