Western Vacation

The property was well located for our purposes. We were visiting family as well as some sightseeing. The view both during the day and night was awesome. The forest fires caused some haze but on the most part was not noticeable. Beacon Hill Park is a great place to wander & relax. The apartment faced east so one was greeted by the morning sun. Everything we needed was within walking distance and our hostess was very helpful.

Wonderful Location

We really loved the building and the location. We loved walking through Beacon Hill Park. The whole area is beautiful, diverse and fun.

The Perfect Highrise in Victoria

This property has so many positives going for it! The location is just perfect-it sits in the quiet and lovely James Bay neighborhood and across the street from beautiful Beacon Hill Park. The property is a short walk to the harbor and Victoria's famous sites. The property itself is lovely-the kitchen is well-appointed and the furniture and bed very comfortable-not to mention the beautiful view from the balcony. Uta is so accommodating-she shared some 'bucket list' sites and activities that we took advantage of! I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely month stay

A very peaceful stay with amazing views of Strait to Juan de Fuca, distant views of Mt. Baker, Olympic mountains and Birds Eye view of lovely Beacon Hill Park across the street. I only used my car twice during my stay since grocery stores, restaurants, Fisherman’s wharf, library, Empress Hotel are in easy walking distances. Wi-Fi in studio was flawless. Raised bed was comfortable and was a unique way to provide roomy living room space. My only caveat about the bed is that individuals who may have balance or other physical challenges may have difficulties getting up and down on the bed. Uta, the owner, was wonderful and gracious in accommodating some special requests. Communication with Uta was excellent. Thank you so much for sharing your studio apartment with me, Uta.

Great location & amenities

Great spot in James Bay close to beacon hill park and downtown. It is so convenient that it includes parking and there is a hot tub/pool/sauna/gym in the building. The balcony also offers great views! Uta was an excellent host and went out of her way to accommodate me.
