Great host!! So easy to communicate with! The cabin has a beautiful view of the mountain!! Lots of provided items for kitchen, bath and laundry! Love that it has a wood burning fireplace and firewood!! Definitely on the rough and rustic side. Sounds travel easily through all the walls! Would come back again.. GREAT location for the sky to summit race in October!!
Perfect location for Highland. Pickleball courts nearby. Beautiful vineyard. Nice view out back. Lots of towels. Kitchen had good basic condiments and spices.
Quiet place to stay. Beautiful cabin. Driveway was a little rough but expected staying in the mountains. The only reason I gave it a 4 on the cleanliness was more for the deck. Yes, I know it’s outdoors, but you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. We wiped down the rockers to use, swept. There is no way I would have sat or laid back on the cushioned chairs. Great communication.
This is a very nice cabin and communication with the host was great. Everything is there that you need and ready to go when you walk in the door. My son loved laying in the loft and watching the TV downstairs & my dog felt like he was in charge looking out for everyone from atop the stairs. There's little usable yard, but the road to the cabin is paved with little travel, so it makes for a nice walk. Towns are just 15-20 minutes away in any direction and a nice little distillery in Dillard for those that partake in the spirits.
10/10!! We had an amazing stay. This is such a cute and cozy little cabin. Very well maintained, very clean and has everything you need and so much more. We truly enjoyed it. Thank you for hosting us!
We had a wonderful time at this property…very clean and comfortable house, convenient location for hiking, golf, shopping. Kaitlyn was super responsive to any questions or issues that came up and nothing went unaddressed. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to cook often and enjoy our evenings on the deck. All in all, everything was as we’d hoped…we stayed the whole month and had a blast!
Nice cabin with really nice view. Deck is larger than I thought it’d be. Well stocked kitchen. Snacks, coffee, and teas were provided. Had a great time here.
The property looks like the pictures and is exactly as described. Although there is a neighbor to one side, we still felt secluded. Like most mountain rentals, the drive way is gravel and is fine for any 2 wheel vehicle. The master bedroom/bathroom had plenty of space, upstairs bedrooms are good for kids or teens. The outside decks has plenty of seating and space for an extended family. We enjoyed looking at the mountain across the way. Additionally, you can here the water from the stream from the deck. You can here some traffic noise from the road below, but it didn’t spoil our feeling of being secluded. I will add that the master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in that wasn’t my own.
As for location, it’s minutes away from sky valley, a quick drive to scaly mountain, and 15 minutes to Clayton. We also took a day trip to Gatlinburg which was 2 hours away.
I would stay here again.
