While Sarah did respond to messages, and we were able to talk on the phone, we dont feel the mistake she made on the listing (3 bedrooms) was our fault. The host feels that since she changed the listing (after we paid) to be 2 bedroom and air matresses, not 3 bedroom, which is what we saw on the vrbo ad. Neither the Host (Sarah) or VRBO were willing to offer a discount, or any reasonable solution, unless you feel, "go ahead and pay for the 1 day and we will cancel the other 2 days" is reasonable. Im not sure how that is a solution when we have traveled over 1000 miles and expect accomodations for 3 adult men. We dont reccomend this property, since if you have an issue, neither the host or vrbo will help to resolve it. We will also not be using vrbo any more, besides this incident, the excessive fees, ridiculous deposit or a "gotcha "fee insurance" is a bit sleazy, and the customer service was a waste of time.
