Place is definitely not quiet nor safe. There is a common door in the dining area and the people on the other side of the door were heard talking about drugs to my 11 year old just sitting watching tv. When they found out we had a baby with us they would pound on the doors, jiggle the locks and scream animal noises. They would try to push that door open multiple times. I had to stay in that room and watch from the couch all night. At one point, one man was so angry he pounded and yelled where is our fn phone. I called host and after she contacted the neighbors they threatened to harm my family. Specifically she said she should come over and f us up. I have this all recorded and will post on youtube under: Galena vrbo family harassment. Police were contacted and report was filed.

Wonderful All Around

My partner and I planned a little getaway for our birthdays. The property was perfectly located on the Main Street and parking was easily located with the directions. Jolene was wonderful and accommodating as my partner arranged a surprise proposal during the trip! Thank you, we will definitely be returning!

Sibling weekend

This was a great rental. Nice and clean with a perfect location. The parking space was much appreciated as there was no other parking anywhere nearby. Kitchen is minimal (but accurate in pictures and listing). Queen bed was very firm which I loved.

The booking was great and the information provided was accurate and thorough. Check in and out with Jolene was excellent! The apartment was clean and quaint with everything you need to have a wonderful visit in Galena. The location is excellent right in the heart of town! Will definitely hope to book here again!

Great location. Very clean. Having a parking spot is a real plus. The cons for Suite 1 are: When the furnace goes on it makes a powerful noise. This Suite is located next to a restaurant and you can hear the conversations which were not loud. Next time I would want to stay in Suite 2 or 3.

Perfect location

Small but comfortable, excellent location right downtown tucked away off a side street. The kitchenette is small and would not be great for cooking meals (there is no stove.) Comfortable beds and there's also cable TV. Overall great spot!

Amazing location!

Great location right on Main St. Very convenient for everything we wanted to do. Everything worked. The kitchen is very minimal which was fine as we did not plan to cook, but be aware there is no stove/oven and only a small fridge. It was great for our getaway weekend!

Perfect place in the perfect location

The apartment suite was adorable and cozy. Neat & clean, with the amenities you need. No cooking area meant no pressure to prepare meals, allowing us to go out & enjoy all the great food in Galena. Location was perfect for walking anywhere!

Perfect girls weekend!

Jolene is awesome and super easy to get ahold of. The place is adorable, perfect location, clean and has all the necessary amenities. It was perfect for our girls weekend. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time in Galena. The apartment is in a perfect location to walk everywhere to see all the attractions Galena has to offer. Like all the other reviews say the walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the apartment next door. We were lucky enough to have a loud drunk lady next door. Thankfully they weren't there much but at night.

Location is great. Be aware lots of 1-way streets. Bring extra TP if staying several days and a French press if you don't bring instant coffee cups.

Perfect location!

Overall the experience was fantastic. Great location! Only downfall is the suite next door is really loud. Only a door blocking. And bedroom is next to staircase where it is also loud. Maybe some signs in the hallway saying quiet zone and turn off the lights when done in the stairwell. It was bright. My friend is partially dead and she could hear the neighbors and it kept her up at night. But overall great suite. Will stay with Jolene again!

Anniversary Getaway

Location was everything we could have asked for. Owners were very responsive and open to feedback the one time we had a very slight issue. Loved the included parking spot to avoid having to deal with luggage and stairs. Neighbors could be heard in the adjoining apartments but was not bad. We would definitely stay there again.

Sister's trip!

Galena was such a fun spot and the location of this apartment was fantastic! It is right in the middle of town, close to all the shops & restaurants and has a convenient parking spot. One thing to note is the apt has a Keurig machine but pods aren't included, a coffee shop is pretty close so disaster diverted! Thanks Jolene!!

Perfect Location / Steps from Main Street!

We had a wonderful stay at this sweet little apartment tucked right above the shops on Main Street in downtown Galena. The location was perfectly centralized on the strip of shops and restaurants making it convenient to everything! You do have to climb stairs to come and go, so if accessibility is concern, just know that may be a limitation. The property was well kept and we had no issues that needed attention during our stay.

Amazing Place

This was the perfect to stay at. Location is fantastic, in the heart of Galena. We walked everywhere and never used the car. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine tasting you name it. All within walking distance.
