You'll also have your own private .25-mile, Whitefish Trail, on the property!

Stillwater Mountain Lodge borders the Stillwater State Forest with a combined total of 8 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms across 2 cabins that make up this property, the Great House and the Nordic, the Lodge can accommodate up to 16 people, making this the perfect retreat for large families and groups to get away from it all and enjoy everything Whitefish has to offer.

The Great House offers a two living spaces. The first living space, the larger of the two, consists of an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, 5 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. The open-concept living/dining/kitchen area is spacious, yet cozy with comfy furniture, a dining table for 10 people, and a roomy kitchen that features butcher block countertops, stainless steel appliances, and lots of space to prepare every meal.

Steps away from the living room, you'll find an office area complete with a standing desk and two monitors, making it easy to work from home. Through the office, you'll find the master bedroom suite. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a flatscreen tv, a cozy sitting area with a wood-burning stove, and gorgeous bay windows that showcase the stunning views. The ensuite bathroom is cozy and private with a spacious jetted tub, a luxurious walk-in shower, and lots of natural light that streams in through the upper windows.

The second bedroom is complete with stunning views of the wooded area outside, a king-sized bed, a vanity/sink area, a loveseat, and a wood-burning stove to keep you cozy on chilly nights. Snuggle up with a good book by the stove and relax. The attached bathroom also has a single vanity and a combo tub/shower.

Through the French doors, you'll find the third bedroom with a queen-sized bed, another wood-burning stove, a desk area where you can get some work done, a vanity/sink area and another access point to the bathroom that is shared with the master bedroom. You'll also find a ladder leading upstairs where you have the final, loft-style bedroom with two twin-sized beds and gorgeous views.

The second living space is a studio that sits above the main living space with a full-sized kitchen, a queen-sized bed, a twin daybed, a bathroom with a combo tub/shower and designated workspace that's perfect for those that work from home. This cozy studio is perfect for a couple or a small family to have some privacy at the Stillwater Mountain Lodge.

Steps away from the Great House, you'll find the Nordic. The Nordic is a cozy cabin with an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The living area has comfy furniture that faces the French doors that lead to the deck outside and has some of the best views on the property. Relax and enjoy the peaceful nature that surrounds you. Next to the living room are the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for your loved ones and the dining room has a cozy table for 6 where you can serve that meal.

From the kitchen, you'll find the first bathroom with a single vanity and a combo tub/shower. On either side of the bathroom are the first two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed, a flatscreen tv, and French doors that lead out to the deck where you can access the hot tub. Have a quick dip in the hot tub before you snuggle up in bed. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and stunning views of the trees outside.

Steps away you'll find the third bedroom that feels like another studio with a seating area with a futon, a dining table for 6, a queen-sized bed, another desk space, and the final bathroom complete with a standing shower and washer and dryer.

Both the Great House and the Nordic have private decks with gorgeous views of the surrounding area with gas grills for you to enjoy in the warmer months. The Nordic features a hot tub that is perfect for relaxing in after a day of fun-filled adventures. You'll also find fire pits where you can roast marshmallows in the evening and picnic tables where you can enjoy lunch outside.

Ski Trip with 6 Men

We had a ski trip with 6 men who have doing an annual ski trip for over 30 years. We enjoyed the space between the two buildings so each person had their own bedroom. We were able to cook meals and congregate in the main house. Good access to both Whitefish Ski Resort and Fernie Alpine resort in Canada. The host communicated and responded to requests and questions quickly. Two whitetail deer were bedded down on the property so we enjoyed watching them every day.

Montana Trip for Our 90 year Old Mother

Property was very well equipped and I couldn't imagine finding a place that better suited our needs. Kitchen was equipped with anything needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to all.

Wonderful Place

The place was perfect, roomy, just rustic enough, well appointed, the primary bath has an incredible shower! Very roomy and comfortable. It was perfect for the 15 family members. The location is great, near downtown and near Big Mountain. I highly recommend this property

Beautiful Houses and Property

My daughter got married in Glacier National Park and we had 11 people that came. The property and homes were great; well stocked, very good location, plenty of space; we had a great time. My only disappointment is when we arrived the floors were filthy, especially under tables, couches and beds. We swept and then all was good, but the cleaning people need to do a better job for you. Besides that, the 8 days there were perfect! Thank you for helping make my daughter's special week wonderful!

Glacier Vacation - July 2023

The property was wonderful. It was a great space for our family of 16 people, which included us as grandparents, three children and their spouses, and eight grandchildren. The only downside is the lodging was approximately an hour from the Glacier Park entrance.

Lovely location. Property is a bit worn and rundown

We had a group of 11 family members, siblings plus spouses. All seniors. The property was a lovely location in the forest. However it could use a good update. Wood counter tops in the kitchen didn't seem very sanitary. When we arrived, the Nordic house had garbage strewn behind the house. The managers did respond to do a cleanup the next day. We ran out of propane for the bbq the second day. No dishtowels in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of fresh towels for the bathrooms. So all in all - an average property.
