Thanksgiving in San Antonio

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering at this Historic Victorian Home in San Antonio. Perfect location for our Son who attend Trinity University and was playing in the Football Playoffs. We enjoyed a fabulous home cooked meal in the Kitchen & Enjoyed Family in the Dining Room. Everyone enjoyed gathering for games & the game room and back porch. Wonderful communication for our host Paula. Thanks for sharing your home.

Why they chose this property

The Magnificent Mansion Off Main Ave in San Antonio is my latest project. I fell in love with the spectacular columns, 2 generous balconies, & 3rd-floor view of the colorful downtown Hemisfair Tower. My friends call it the "Texas Tara," just north of downtown San Antonio. In my 11 years as hostess, I often had requests for very large groups. This property can accommodate 49 on site & sleeps 22. Check out my many 5-star reviews at my other properties.

What makes this property unique

This truly unique 3-story house is furnished and equipped for your comfort. 2 modern kitchens, updated bathrooms, & open concept do not detract from the historic charm. The extremely large bedrooms afford privacy. The extra wide halls have several seating options for 2-6 to encourage conversations. The balconies have breathtaking views. The stately mansion sits amongst other magnificent homes in a neighborhood steeped in history. The wide sidewalks make walking a joy and allow you to see the distinctive details of the homes. The property's proximity to many churches and wedding venues make it an ideal home base for multigenerational groups. This home of Dallas Cowboys owner Clint Murchison Jr as a young boy has a darling children's room equipped with a real dollhouse for your favorite children (and children at heart). We offer games for adults as well. Oh, the fun you will have!
