The Ocean Forest Villas were named after the original Ocean Forest Hotel, a main destination and famous landmark in Myrtle Beach for decades. Enjoy privacy at its best as the resort is located on 1,000 feet of private beach.

The Villas are located on 13 meticulously-landscaped acres in the Pine Lakes area, adjacent to the famous 'Golden Mile', a stretch of million-dollar-plus beachfront homes. The Villas are a short walk to restaurants, shops, and golf.

The miles of endless beach are perfect for walks along the white sand and watching South Carolina sunsets.

When you're ready to head in, grab your belongings off your private beach, and head up to your gorgeous villa. Prepare your meal in our fully-equipped and meticulously clean kitchen, and enjoy a glass wine on our porch overlooking the shoreline. Bringing the kids? No problem. We provide beach activities, books, even movies. Sleeping 6 comfortably, bring the whole family to enjoy two sparkling ocean view pools, and two bubbling hot tubs.

My Stay

The location of this property is excellent. The unit itself could use an update especially the sofa. It was nice having a recliner in the living area. The master bed was very comfortable. For an older couple going 3 flights of stairs was hard. Location to beach was great.

Excellent location, great value!

Classic accommodations in an Outstanding location with a great view! The community and pool area was very nice as well. We found it to come & go as you like with much more convenient parking access than you get with other condos nearby. Host was terrific and highly responsive.

Beautiful view

Loved being right across from the ocean. The pool and deck areas were very nice. We enjoyed nice walks on the beach. Good value for the space and location - grounds of property were very nicely kept.

This location was perfect. It was very convenient drive to the Doug Shaw stadium where my daughter participated in the NCAA track and field event. A short walk to the beach and pool was beautiful

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect place for my sister and I to stay. The condo is everything that is described and more. The location is amazing, close to good restaurants and shopping. The condo community is quiet and peaceful, and the beach is very private. Tim was easy to communicate with, answering any questions immediately. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot

This was the perfect quaint condo that was so close to the beach and had a wonderful pool. Great location to restaurants and grocery stores. Spent lots of time at the beach and pool. Enjoyed peaceful morning coffees on the balcony. This condo had everything we needed for then week. Tim contacted me before the week by email and phone to make sure we had all the information we needed and if we had any questions. Had the best and most relaxing week there! Thank you!

Awesome beach condo!

Our stay here was really great! The condo has everything you need for a beach vacation. The private beach which was just a tiny walk, was awesome. You’ll never have to fight for a spot near the water. The pool and hot tub were equally fun. The condo is close to all restaurants, and other entertainment. The Boardwalk at the Beach, wax museum, and the outlet malls were a fun way to spend some time when we weren’t having a beach day. I also want to mention how helpful Tim, the owner was. He called me to make sure I had received all the information needed for a smooth check in and provided helpful information about the area. Would definitely recommend!

The condo is exactly as described. Was it extravagant and luxurious? Nope. However, it was perfect walking distance from the ocean and close enough to enjoy the boardwalk, yet far away enough to not be trapped in the hustle and bustle. If you like nostalgia, you'll love watching Twister or Death Becomes Her on VHS- and yes, I did rewind them when I was done. The pool and hot tub were clean and easily accessible and check-in and parking were a piece of cake. The owners were super friendly and gave me a call ahead of time and to see if I had any questions and concerns. My only complaint is a few beach towels provided would've been cool.

Desperately needs update

Wow, talk about going back in time! This property is so outdated, it looks like my 90 yr old grandma owns it! Hard to tell what is clean vs old & worn out! Sheets on beds had sweaty, musty smell & blanket in closet had old blood stains on it! Despite all of the above, I would book this property again & just bring my own sheets!

Just dirty !!! stay away

when arriving we had to wait an additional hour due to not receiving the code to enter the condo; upon checkin gin the condo we did an inspection. There was a bloody pad in the room located with the twin beds in it, there was trash under all the beds, the front room pull out couch has spots on the sheets, the stay was terrible. We attempted to reach the host and to no avail he did not return texts nor phone calls. We contacted vrbo and was told we would get a refund and that didnt happen. Just dont book this place or do it at your own risk. Host need to do better with communication and need to fire the housekeeper due to not doing her job and vrbo need to stop telling ppl they will get a refund and do not (pictures were provided as proof) . Covid is still out here and that pad could have led to blood born pathogens and the fact that it was also dirty... what else can I say.

Location to beach is great. Unit itself is not. Needs a total updating. Carpet is stained in every room. Couch is coming apart. Mattress in both twin beds wore out.
