About this property

Thank you for taking the time to come take a look at our lovely home away from home! Our Mountain Condo has everything you need for you and your family to experience a wonderful vacation! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps 8 adults. The kitchen is fully stocked with a crockpot and griddle. We provide a pack-n-play and highchair just in case you are traveling with small children. We recently added an awesome storage rack for you to hang your skis or snowboards to dry. The Leatherbark complex has ample parking, and there is a free shuttle that conveniently stops right in front of the Leatherbark complex that runs in the wintertime only. There is a market (Wildcat Provisions) just steps away, across the street from Leatherbark, just in case you forgot any necessities. Enjoy the quiet, beautiful view from the rear private balcony! Our spacious unit boasts the only private deck in the entire complex! You can even see deer passing by and grazing in the back area daily. The unit is also wheelchair accessible.
Only a 5 minute walk to the Village where you can enjoy some great shopping, a warm cup of coffee as well as numerous fine dining options as well as access to ski and snowboard slopes. There is also an indoor pool/hot tub just steps away that you can take advantage of also (fees extra). Snowshoe Mountain is considered a phenomenal four seasons resort, with tons of activities to experience throughout the year.

Terrific location for a family ski trip

First time at Snow Shoe. Super convenient location for shuttling to various points on the mountain. Great unit for family and friends.

Close to the Village, main level spacious unit!

We really loved the king bed with mattress topper and the bunk room with trundle plus the sleeper sofa slept 7 comfortably. Loved the griddle and full sized washer drier. The large table was perfect for large family card games. We will be back!

Perfect Jem for quick ski trip!

It was me (Dad) my two high school sons, and a couple of their friends. The place was perfect. Felt bigger than I’d thought, well-equipped to have meals in, ground level (key), and 2 minute walk to shuttle stop. All in all, just a great place to stay at snowshoe!

Great Space & Location

Spacious condo and easy parking for family of four, and it was still decorated for the holidays! Quick walk to slopes and village and store and Silver Creek shuttle stop. Fast and friendly communication. Would definitely stay again.

Great Condo

Well appointed condo, very clean and had everything we needed for a short ski trip. Perfect location, close enough to the slopes and Village to walk, but far enough away to be nice and quiet.

Amazing Stay

The property owner was super helpful and gave great tips for our stay! The property itself is a great location, and way more spacious than the photos let on! Just a short walk to the village where there is shopping and dining, and of course, skiing access! High recommend this property!

Awesome Place

Very modern and spacious for our family. Easy parking and convenient location that is a short walk to the slopes and village. Condo still had two mini holiday trees lighted inside! Will definitely keep on our list for future trips.

Ski trip review

Our Vrbo sleeps 8 guys, as long as you are comfortable with the group your with. Tight but doable. Internet modem was intermittent at times, I would recommend replacing. Other than what stated above, our stay was great!

Truly feels like home condo

Very comfortable and throughly thought through condo: special rack for skies, well equipped kitchen, enough of cozy throws. Our family of 6 enjoyed it very much! If you are lucky and there is natural snow in the woods it is skiable to the Ballhooter lift! Also, bring sleds for young children. There are some fun slopes for sledding.

Nice ski condo

We had a nice time at the condo and skiing at Snowshoe resort. The condo was exactly as pictured, clean, and had space to store our ski gear at night. I liked that there was ample space to hang out and we played some games that we brought along in the evenings after skiing. One very minor item that we didn't know the unit number until we ended up figuring it out based on the wifi info. Maybe it was there somewhere, but I couldn't seem to find it in the emails or VRBO site when we arrived. The condo was in between two ski lift areas, but not far at all and I could walk to the restaurants/shops in less than 5 min. Overall a very nice trip.

Home away from home!! This host thought of everything!

Extremely comfortable stay. Very clean, roomy property. More than enough room for the 6 of us and all of our stuff. The set up was great so we weren't all piled on top of each other with no place to put our belongings and no room to move. We didn't need for anything, plenty of sheets, towels, blankets, dishes, cookware, etc... When I thought "dang, I forgot to bring..." the host already had something there that I could use. This unit was walking distance to the Village and the little grocery store was right there for when we ran out of milk. We loved the decor and the place to put our snowboards and boots when not in use. Another HUGE plus was the washer and dryer in the unit, definitely came in handy for the wet gloves and such. I seriously can't say enough about how great this place was. Thank you for a wonderful cozy comfortable stay. Truly Home away from Home!!
