We were there for a family early Thanksgiving. The location was perfect since it was less than a mile to the family activities. The place was clean and roomy. It truly felt like a home away from home. We will definitely stay there again.
The bungalow was perfect!
It was super clean and comfy. Nicely decorated with a full kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Even had a washer and dryer.
We had a great time. A short walk to KPHole for kayaking and a few minute drive to the state park.
I highly recommend and will definitely come back!
I was absolutely blown back by the beauty in the simplicity of a small home near the river. The house had everything we needed and the host was kind and helpful. I would rent again. 10 out of 10. Oh and the beds are super comfortable!!!!!!!!!
We spent two nights here exploring rainbow springs on our way to Clearwater beach and were blown away by the beauty of the river. We were slightly worried about the shared nature of some of the features, like the grilling area, but everything was well maintained and every person we encountered was extremely friendly. Bungalow was as described, comfortable, and well provisioned.

4th of July Fun
The stay was good. The bungalow was very clean. We had fun kayaking and swimming. We had a mini family reunion with family in multiple bungalows, which was great, but the downside was that we did not have a convenient place to all gather to eat under cover. The common area does not have covered seating and has limited seating. We had to drag down extra chairs from our porches to sit together in the common area by the grills. The 2nd bedroom only has one bed, the 2nd bed is the pull out couch, which is very uncomfortable and disappointing. The shower in the primary bathroom drained slowly. It is not riverfront. You must walk or drive the kayaks to KP Hole. It was fine for us, but might be an issue for folks with small children.
The bungalow was nice and it was pretty peaceful and quiet area. It was nice having access to kp hole for our paddle boards. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed 3 nights at this wonderful cabin! Everything was just as listed. AC was nice and cold; everything we could possibly need was there for us! There was even an air fryer, crock pot and griddle! Extra towels were provided as well as beach towels. The kayaks were a great addition, as were the passes to get on the river. That saved a lot of time in the morning when we wanted to get out before the masses of people! The only thing we didn’t know about was how to get the kayaks back to KP hole if we went down the river to blue run. Besides turning around and heading back up River to KP, you could drop a vehicle off at Swampys so when you’re done you could load up the kayaks in your vehicle (suv or truck) and head back. You’d have to make another trip to pickup the last two so someone would need to stay there. Or, just head back up River to KP. 😁 We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to go back! Thanks Paul!
We love staying at these Bungalows. This one was very clean and tidy. Everything was just right. It had everything we needed for the weekend. We will definitely be staying here again.
Had a relaxing stay at PK’s bungalow! All the necessities and comforts of home!! Couldn’t ask for a thing!! Beautiful coastal decor and super comfortable! Plenty of towels, soap, supplies, etc. Quiet area, enjoyed the hammocks. Short walk to KP hole. We did take the truck when we took the kayaks just because it was easier to drop off & park. They do have kayak wheels available though. We will definitely be back!
We stayed here for our Ranibow River scuba dive certification and the location was more than ideal. It is the closest you can get to the boat ramp. Also the house is incredibly clean, lovely, and overall great experience. Would stay here again for sure. Making sure to look for “lot V” is key when trying to find the place!
This place is comfortable and well appointed! The Kayaks were great and the river was so clean and beautiful!!! We enjoyed S'mores at the fire pit and lots of fresh air on the river but also enjoyed the comfort of this air conditioned property. This property does not have water access but it is a quick easy walk to KP Hole and public boat launch. We wished we brought pool noodles because that is the only floatation device allowed at the Rainbow River Head Springs Park. However, there are near by stores that sell them. Grocery stores and Walmart are very close. We used the grills and enjoyed having the choice of eating indoors or outdoors. I would recommend this location for kids, teens and adults.
This bungalow is located 5 mins walking distance from the KP hole. You can easily drive over to the boat ramp and drop off the kayaks.
If you enjoy making your meals like we do make sure you ask Paul if he changed some of his cookware as the nonstick pots were burnt and stretched up. Also the cart dollys werent that useful to transport the kayaks. It was easier to make two runs with our SUV to load and unload 2 kayaks at a time.
Overall this is a kayakers paradise!
