Structurally unsound

Property is located in an extremely poor neighborhood, surrounded by other properties with chickens and roosters that start crying at the crack of dawn. Wood floor under linoleum is rotting away (soft spots which sag when walking across) and extremely undulated with cracks and tears in the linoleum covered by small rugs. Towel rack in master bathroom is falling off the wall and bathtub is very slippery with nothing in the tub to prevent slips and falls (my wife (who is young) slipped and fell while stepping into the shower).

Long Weekend

My family and I enjoyed a long weekend away for a golf tournament and some sunshine. My in-laws joined us and had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed without being cluttered.

Lovely property, everything you need and a short drive to downtown.

Host was very helpful and communication was great. Lots of good suggestions on restaurants. Please note, some of the neighbors have roosters which did a lot of crowing throughout the night.

Softball tournament hub

We had a weekend tournament with multiple games. This house was in a perfect location to get to downtown to explore and 5 minutes firm the field. The house is clean and spacious with an incredible backyard!

Gem of a place.

Had a lovely stay at this adorable home. Loved the decor. Plenty of space for me and my two teens. Had coffee each morning on the screened in porch, it was heaven. Had my parents over for some backyard games and dinner. It was so much fun. Only recommendation is bring bug spray to hang out in backyard (mosquitoes are Florida’s national bird) and white noise maker for the friendly neighborhood rooster. Would 100% stay here again.

Small little cottage

The home is perfect for a quick stay. We were barely st the house. The neighborhood is a bit scary. 5 minutes from all town activities. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything from every single room. Sheets were stained and master bathtub was very dirty. Cleaning fees when something isnt clean is kinda wack.

Spacious, comfortable, and well equipped

We loved our stay here! The property manager was very helpful pre arrival recommending the best beaches for our son and dog. Speaking of which, the back yard was perfect for playing and relaxing. Everything about the home was as described, and the location was incredibly convenient. Only minor note is that the flooring is a little uneven in some spots which led to some tripping for the little one, as well as the ceiling fan remotes seem to control each other, so we accidentally woke our son up by turning on the lights in his room while trying to do our own. The inclusion of beach chairs and towels was a very pleasant surprise. All in all, a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come again.

Spacious & clean home with good AC

Such a cute place that's only 10-15 minute easy drive into the touristy part of St. Augustine. The back yard was fully fenced in with room for my dog to run around in. It was super clean and the hosts included small touches like dish soap and dishwasher detergent in the kitchen as well as shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, so if we forgot anything it was right there (personally, I love when I don't have to go out of the way to buy things like dish soap)! Really easy communication with the hosts, Danny & Andrea. AC works great and there is a ceiling fan in each of the bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood, felt very safe. I was with my parents, but would feel comfortable here as a solo female traveler as well.

Cozy and comfortable

The place was comfortable, cozy, and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed to prepare our large family meal. The remote controls for the fans were a little tricky, and the light switches in the living area wete in odd places. There was an issue with the overflowing outside trash bin, but it was taken care of to our satisfaction. The beach chairs and towels provided were a nice surprise, as well as the camp chairs to sit outside. We loved the back yard area. So much fun. (The plants back ther need a little attention) I was a little disappointed in the size and quality of the bath towels. Overall a great stay.

An ok getaway property

The stay at the house overall was nice. My family enjoyed the putting green in the backyard even though the putters provided where all broken when we arrived. Luckily we brought our own. only a few minutes drive to downtown. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook breakfast on Christmas morning. Our concerns were the bed sheets had dog hair on them and they were stained, as well as the towels and wash clothes. The house does have a washer and dryer so I was able to wash the sheets and towels myself to ensure they were clean. The rest of the house was clean. The remote controls for the ceiling fans seemed to control all of the other fans and there isn't a fan in the master bedroom. The walls are thin and you can hear everything through them. Overall a nice place to stay just had concerns about the linens. The neighborhood is also a bit skechy.

STOP! READ THIS! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! BEWARE

Homeowner NEVER responded to us or VRBO. Upon arriving at this property the initial thing you will notice is the location is NOT as described. It is not in a sought out area and not in historic district. You will not be walking around after dark in that area, there will be chickens in the yard so beware of that also. The cleanliness of the property was ok upon entering. The house was "cleaned" but def not like other VRBO's I have stayed in. The coffee maker was dirty, had obv been sitting. After the bug infestation I realized that there was roach legs etc on the plates after. The accuracy of the listing is profoundly wrong. This experience truly ruined my family's vacation and this is the first time I have been able to take my family on a trip like this. The place is INFESTED with bugs. Roaches, water bugs, little and big. Obv babies. They came out after dark like a movie on tv. Then we started looking in the rooms etc. Even pulled the sheets back and they had bugs in the bed, on the covers. In the bathrooms. It was like something truly from tv. Then they started coming out of the dishwasher. At this point the 3 children with me who arrived at 12 am! Had to be relocated in the middle of the night and all our belongings. Which to be honest roaches came home with us. Pest control is coming. We then had NO WHERE to go, VRBO told us about their relocating program. Nightmare as well. We had to pay way more for another locacrtion due to booking the same week.

Renters beware!

I selected this residence for a Christmas retreat, hoping to share quality time with my mother. Unfortunately, the experience proved highly unsatisfactory, prompting an early departure due to mounting discomfort. Upon arrival, we encountered a lockbox on the door with a combination lock. Despite attempts to open it with the provided code, we were unsuccessful. Contacting Diane, the listed contact, she insisted on resetting the code, providing no clarity on the process for a manual lock. Despite sharing a photo of the lock, she failed to inform us it wasn't the intended one. After much frustration, we discovered another keypad on the lock, an unconventional feature. Entering, a strong bleach odor permeated the kitchen, and one bedroom reeked of urine. Opting for alternative accommodations, we found the master bedroom's bathroom dirty, with hair in the shower. Bedding revealed unsightly stains and hair, necessitating caution during use. Stained towels in the bathroom further added to our disappointment. A message expressing our discontent received no response, indicative of a lack of concern. Contrary to the description, the neighborhood felt unsafe. The next day, we explored the town briefly before deciding to leave. Despite notifying management via email, no acknowledgment was received. An email inquiring about check-in further suggested a lack of manual oversight, likely automated. In summary, I cannot endorse this property.
