Absolutely Wonderful Stay

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful home for a trip to Shenandoah National Park and surrounding attractions. The property is just as described and pictured. The home was beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting feel. It was truly a “home away from home”, where we could relax and enjoy mountain views after days of exploring, hiking, and enjoying local restaurants. The host was wonderful and so responsive and helpful. We HIGHLY recommend a stay at this lovely home!!! Thank you!

Luray Visit

The house is just as it’s advertised. Clean and tidy and great location. A smoke detector was beeping when we arrived but that was fixed very quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Was a perfect place for a family traveling to hike in Shenandoah, great location and house was a great size, very clean and well stocked.Definitely recommend for anyone traveling with family for luray area attractions

Wonderful stay!

What a lovely cozy, comfortable home full of everything we could have asked for. It was only 15min to the Thornton Gap entrance of SNP and plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

Felt like home!

Very comfortable and cute place to stay in Luray! We loved the views and the closeness to Shenandoah NP and Luray Caverns. Because of the location of the house we were able to take a hike in the park in the morning and attend a wedding in the caverns in the evening! The house had everything we needed and a lot of nice touches! We loved Luray and would love to visit again soon. Thanks so much for a lovely weekend.

Page Valley (Luray) Getaway

The house was perfect for our family of four with provided towels and sheets. The house has room for even more people. We felt comfortable and safe with scenic views of the mountains and greeted by cows across the road! The neighborhood was nice to walk around and visted Arrowhead Lake and Luray Caverns which both were very nice. The space was comfortable to have extended family visit after having dinner close by. We would love to come back during the Fall to see the trees in full colors.

A great place to stay

My daughter and I had a weekend away at this cute house. Checkin was a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. I was pleasantly surprised that there was even a box of my favorite hot tea flavors. The overall decor was beautiful. The living room was very comfortable and offered a view of the mountains out of the expansive window. Both of our beds were very comfortable. My favorite room of the house was the bathroom. I could have spent the entire weekend in the shower. The neighborhood was very quiet and I felt very safe. I would definitely recommend this house if you are planning a trip to Luray.

Home is just perfect and incredibly spacious. You can tell that they were really thoughtful about the upgrades they put in the house. Very easily accessible to the great downtown. Definitely would stay at again.

Great stay

This house is beautifully decorated and gives you the cozy home feel for your stay. It is in a great location, it is an easy drive to town and the local market around the corner is a nice walk with scenic views of the mountains and farms. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to book with. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

Feels like home!

This is my family’s second stay in this beautiful little house. The hosts are friendly and attentive. Communication has been great. So many amenities inside and outside. The inside of the house is comfy and cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need as is the rest of the home. It’s a peaceful country neighborhood with mountains to one side and cows to the other. The town is nearby and fun to visit. I could keep going on but suggest you come check it out for yourself. You will be hooked!

Awesome neighborhood and town

Great location and super cute house. I really really want to give 5 stars but I just can’t for the cleanliness. They don’t charge for cleaning and that’s not always a good thing. There was food chunks in the sink, spots of food on the kitchen counter and next to our king bed was a huge sticky spot of dried juice or wine someone spilled we kept stepping on (gross) and a makeup compact left under the bed. Sheets smelled cleaned at least.

Very cute house close to city center

Very comfortable and clean little house close to the Main Street of Luray. The host let us check in a little early and provided lots of extra towels and even toiletries which was very nice. We had a nice weekend stay!

Lanny Bailey grew up in this home and spent the past two years lovingly restoring and repairing it. He and his wife Sara love to hike in Skyline Drive especially the waterfall hikes. In addition they enjoy kayaking on the Shenandoah river and biking out to Lake Arrowhead. Lanny recommends the bologna sandwiches at Fairview grocery and Sara recommends The Valley Cork! While their full time home is in Virginia Beach where they work they get here as often as possible to visit friends and family in the area. Lanny is a government civilian working for the Navy, Sara is a physical therapist working for Sentara. They have grown children and grandchildren, and a spoiled rescue dog named Layla.

Perfectly located one mile from Luray city center, this property offers access to Shenandoah National Park (Skyline Drive), the Shenandoah River, Lake Arrowhead, Luray Caverns, Cooters, mountain views, an indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, family friendly 3 bedroom, dog friendly home with ample parking. Fall leaf viewing is spectacular. Winter time activities include skiing at Massanutten (35 minutes) or Wintergreen Resort (1 hour) away. Our rates are reasonable and include the professional cleaning fee.
