Classic Southside Gem: The Lindemann House

This cozy cottage will be the perfect place to rest after a full day of exploring Flagstaff's historic downtown or enjoying the many beautiful vistas and outdoor sports. Soak in a hot bath in the vintage clawfoot tub or cosy up with a book in a soft corner chair.

There is Kreuig for making coffee or tea in the morning and you're just steps away from Flagstaff's favorite coffee shop, Macy's.

Can't wait to rebook

Sweet little place in an excellent location. We walked everywhere. We went to a concert at the Orpheum, and it was easy walking to and from. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. Will stay there again.

This house was absolutely lovely. It was cozy and had everything that we needed. I had a question for the owner and she responded within minutes. All of the house info and the check out list was easy to follow. The history of the house and the one behind it was quite interesting. The location was great - within walking distance to everything downtown. I highly recommend the Lindemann House!

A true gem

Cool home, great location to get a true Flagstaff feel. Comfortable for a family with young children. Will be back with friends and rent both homes!

Quaint little house, excellent location!

we loved our little house and great yard space for our doggie. The location is close to Macy’s and downtown Flagstaff, which made it easier to explore. All amenities were provided and even some above and beyond the expectation. The hostess and her husband were very helpful. we will be back!

Recent Stay

We loved the house and all of the work put into renovating it. The location is perfect to downtown, we could walk everywhere. Dawn was super responsive and when we realized we left a few items she went to USPS that day to ship them to us. She went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more appreciative. We’d highly recommend this to anybody visiting Flagstaff!

Great historic house

It was a wonderful old house in historic Flagstaff neighborhood, close to everything we wanted to do. Perfect for our 3 person family.

Quaint historic property

Roku remote was only remote provided. TV remote was nowhere to be found so TV functions were not accessible.. Recommend that a shower curtain ring and curtain be added to second bath so two guests to get ready at same time.

Location

This property was a really nice place to stay if you like a historical home in the perfect location. The history behind this house is super cool. It is old - obviously - but clean and very thoughtfully put together. The bed was comfortable and the tub a great place to relax. There was coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and even some bubble bath available. The location is just 3 blocks to the heart of downtown. Flagstaff is a foodie’s heaven and there are many fantastic choices within walking distance.

Adorable house Great location

Such a great experience staying at this house. Walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. Cute house with uniqueness. Loved that there were instruments. We had a pretend band session. It was horrible but we sure had fun trying. Would definitely stay here again should we come back to Flagstaff.

Little Cosy Place

Cost Place to stay, with history attached to the property. Good value for money. Amenities are limited. We stayed in winter, it snowed previous few nights. Car parking behind the building can get tricky in winter.

Your host

I am a Flagstaff Native, wife, and mother. I also founded and manage the Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival, the only professional theatre company in Flagstaff.

Why they chose this property

In 2015, this house was slated for demolition, but I talked the developers into letting me move it down the street to its current location. I then spent 2yrs painstakingly restoring the home. It's called "Agnes' House" because my babysitter, Agnes, lived there and took care of me there.
