Exactly as pictured, this condo was extraordinarily comfortable for my partner and I. The South Shore of O'ahu is always amazing. Super walkable, right across the street from Kapi'olani Park, and Kaimanas Beach is less than five minutes away. There is even a spot to dip in the ocean right in front of the property! I highly recommend and look forward to staying here again in the future.
My elderly parents came to stay for their 60th anniversary and had an amazing time.
They loved the views and enjoyed hanging out on the ocean front patio watching the sunset. Perfectly located away from the crowds in Waikiki yet close enough to restaurants and activities.
Check in was easy, even for octogenarians :), and Mark was quick to respond to any questions I had.
5 stars. Would def recommend!
I would stay at this property again, without hesitation
Property was as advertised. It was clean, modern, fully functional and overall excellent. The value/price proposition was amazing. Only downside was drapes in bedroom allowed too much light in evening but fortunately had eye shades.
Lovely apartment with lots of room and light. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable but the futon was rather small for 2 people. Had some difficulty getting timely responses from the rental agency when there was a leak in the kitchen and it took several days to repair. Besides leak we enjoyed our stay and the perfect location along the Gold Coast!
Overall the stay was positive. Room was provided clean and property manager was fairly easy to get in touch with.
The negatives were that while there is A/C as listed in the room description, there is only one unit inside the bedroom and no A/C in the living/dining/kitchen area. That can make the living room uncomfortable at times - especially for families with people who intend to sleep on the sofa bed out there. Parking is also available in basement but can be extremely tight and hard to navigate for larger vehicles.
This is a beautiful and spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom fully stocked apartment located on the beach with a less than 1 mile walk to shops and restaurants in Waikiki. It is gated entry and very safe. There are views of Diamond Head and the ocean from the apartment and a lovely sitting area on the lawn looking over the ocean. Perfect for watching sunsets. We brought our own tolietries which we prefer. The host did provide travel size options.
There is a sea wall so there is no beach on the property, but there are many wonderful beaches within an easy 5-10 minute walk. The host provides a couple of easy to carry beach chairs, 3 beach towels and there are several body boards for use in the unit as well.
Mark was a very responsive Host and I would 100% stay here again if I ever get back to Honolulu.

Good location, but hot
Good location, with the following caveats- parking onsite is extra charge and exceptionally tight. Queen bedroom is fine and that room has air conditioning. Other sleeping room is tiny hallway, very hot, no a/c, and small futon is exceptionally uncomfortable. Large scale, noisy, construction renovation going on in next door exterior building. We would not go back here.
Only suitable for two adults with well fitting ear plugs. You could get cross breeze, by opening windows, but you hear construction noise and would need to be comfortable opening up windows on walkway accessible by other tenants or people having access to building, which we were not.
Perfect for an adult vacay or remote work situation
The property was very clean and just as pictured. Amazing views of water and/or Diamond Head from almost anywhere in the unit. Good location away from the wackiness of Waikiki but a short walk if a bit more liveliness or nightlife is desired. Overall building amenities are fairly limited (if you want a pool, a swim up bar etc. you should stay at a resort)! The upside of not having a pool? No crying children! Kaimana Beach is a five minute walk and a good spot for swimming and turtle sightings. If you have reciprocal club privileges as an Elks member or at the Outrigger Club you will be pleased to find both facilities are located practically next door. There is a small market, Russell's, at the Kaimana Hotel that has the basics and a good (enough) selection of booze. Short walk to the cute cafes and restaurants on Monserrat (try the lemon crunch cake at Diamond Head Market & Grill)! An easy walk to Diamond Head trail (be sure to make reservations to enter the park, alternatively, the walk around Diamond Head is just as cool and less crowded).
Thank you for a great stay! I am hesitant to leave this review lest the secret of my new favorite getaway get out and the reservation calendar fill up leaving me unable to book again!
802 is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your visit to Oahu. The neighborhood is quiet with a couple of great beaches, restaurants, and a coffee shop nearby. It's a nice walk to/from Waikiki. The unit is perfect - spacious, nicely decorated, and well-maintained - and the hosts are responsive and helpful!
