Welcome to the Residences at Fairwinds Landing, overlooking the marina and the Strait of Georgia in Nanoose Bay. Once known as Schooner Cove Hotel, this building has been reimagined to offer contemporary, condo-style, short-term vacation rentals.

This oceanfront suite offers modern sophistication with a bright open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary furniture, hotel-inspired linens, and a large private deck. An ideal getaway place for family and friends or romantic retreats!

This suite is on the main floor. As you come in the lobby, you can either use the elevator or stairs to go to the lower level and then go through the fire doors.

The Fairwinds community is located in Nanoose Bay; a west coast neighbourhood surrounded by the Salish Sea. Enjoy exploring the beaches, walking trails, Craig Bay, and views of Mount Arrowsmith. Nearby you can enjoy dining, shopping, farmers' markets, festivals, galleries, museums, live theatre, musical performances, Indigenous cultural experiences, fishing, whale watching, snow skiing, and bungy jumping.

The Fairwinds golf course offers an award-winning golfing experience and is open year-round. The golf course is a short distance away by vehicle.

The Nanoose Bay Cafe restaurant, bar & lounge and coffee shop is open for lunch & dinner, happy hour and boasts spectacular waterfront views. They also have offer a Market Place where you can find over 80 Vancouver Island artisan goods from gifts to groceries showcasing the best of the BC.

There is a marina on-site if you wish to launch your own boats or kayaks - please contact the marina directly for launch fees and information.

The Fairwinds community is surrounded by woodlands parks and beach areas. Brickyard Community Beach is the closest beach for swimming and recreation. Moorecroft Park is another nearby park for walking and enjoying nature. These locations are best accessed by vehicle or bike.

A comfortable, quiet space for six
We booked this accommodation for our family to stay for the weekend of my mother’s celebration of life. With three private bedroom spaces and plenty of room to relax inside and out, it was perfect. The suite was beautifully appointed, comfortable and impeccably clean. Our only suggestion to improve the guest experience would be to provide a regular coffee maker and a teapot in addition to the Keurig. This omission seemed at odds with the otherwise well equipped kitchen. Access to more supplies over the weekend would have been appreciated, too. With six guests staying two days, four coffee pods don’t go very far. We'd brought our own coffee and tea, but alas...
