The house has three queen beds, along with a pullout futon in the living room, as well as all the character and charm you'd expect a Hermann home to have. Enjoy your morning coffee on the 2nd floor balcony, overlooking the beautiful backyard and landscape, on the screened-in sun porch with swinging bed, or on the private patio. Exceeded Expectations

A group of friends were looking for more than just our usual monthly "Ladies' Night Out" and thought Hermann would be nice. Helen's House was the absolute perfect venue. Clean, cozy, well cared for little house. Convenient to everything we hoped to do. This may well begone our must-do-again place.

Wurstfest Weekend

Kelly was kind enough to call me and provide check in details. The house was perfect for our group of 6. Adorable back screened in area and patio made it enjoyable to BBQ our dinner.

We loved our stay!

Helen’s House was perfect! A charming home, decorated simply and beautifully. Outdoor spaces were wonderful as well. Great location. I highly recommend! Only one drawback, the bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall, we had a lovely time and would absolutely stay again.

Family weekend getaway in wine country

We enjoyed staying in the historic district and being close to many restaurants and tasting rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, including several corkscrews. We also spent quite a bit of time hanging out in the screened in porch area. There is a swinging daybed that became my favorite lounging spot. We didn't need anything from the hosts during our stay, but they checked in and made sure we had everything we needed.

Loved the screened-in porch. Nice kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to Herman happenings. Stairs to upstairs bedrooms are steep and narrow so not for physically challenged. Great response from the property manager. A gem!

Awakened at 2:30 AM Saturday night to a commotion across the street. Several adults in a shouting match for over a half hour. Police arrived.

Perfect location

We had our annual girls trip to Hermann and stayed in this cute house. 6 of us slept comfortably in the three queen beds. The location was perfect to walk downtown and to catch the trolley. We would definitely stay there again.

Bach weekend

We had a ton of fun in the house, just relaxing and had most home cooked food! We went to the deli which was delicious! We did a lot of shopping all within walking distance of the house! Location was key!! Love it! We are planning a trip back down here soon!

Fun Time

Helens House is an excellent place to stay while in Hermann. Very comfortable. This was our first time in Hermann, and we would definitely come back to this house. We had a great time and plan to come back again. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling to Hermann.

Being 3 blocks from downtown, it was an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go — trolley picks us up right outside the front door! We’d stay here again!

Great Getaway in the heart of Hermann

Cute, completely renovated 1920s bungalow in the heart of Hermann, MO. Close to most everything and able to walk instead of drive. House has hardwood floors, 3 bedrooms with queen beds and a comfortable sofa sleeper in the living area (no bar in the middle of the bed!). Kitchen has updated appliances and bathrooms are completely redone with retro black and white tile. Out back is a fire pit in addition to a roomy screened in porch with eating area and porch swing. Vrbo description says there is a hot tub—there is not and notified the host of the error. Good communication with the host. Overall, a great stay and looking forward to coming back.

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean and comfortable. Every place we wanted to visit was a short walk away and our only complaint is that we had to end our vacation and return to reality.
