It was the perfect house for a quick getaway for my husband and I. We loved the glass wall facing the woods and all the modern amenities. It’s close to many wineries and breweries and just a nice, quiet location if you’re looking for somewhere to go to unplug from daily life. We would definitely Italy come back.
My husband and I stayed at this property for his birthday getaway for 1 night and loved it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as it appears in the picture. The place was clean and the bed was so comfortable! I would just be mindful that you’re in the middle of nowhere and the closest store like Walmart or the gas station is about 30 mins away, so just prepare in advance for that. I would also make sure you double check in advance with the host for your key code to enter the property because you may not receive the email from Vrbo or have cell service once you get to the property. Along with being okay that there was no tv, which wasn’t a big deal-my husband just loves movies so we just got an inexpensive projector from walmart to watch some movies the WiFi connection was great. Other than that it was beautiful seeing all the stars at night and beautiful sunrise in the morning so peaceful. I would definitely comeback again if we needed a little peaceful getaway.

Christian themed rental
An otherwise wonderful stay was marred by the overwhelming amount of religious paraphernalia. The large bible and multiple religious books placed in the center of the home, Virgin Mary, cross, even wifi password, made me feel unwelcome because I don’t share the same religious faith. It felt as much like I was being evangelized as it did I was a guest. Because this wasn’t advertised I felt like I had been tricked.
Other than that, the home was beautiful, the location was beautiful, and the house was extremely well appointed and well thought out.

Lovely modern house but expensive
Lovely small place. Expensive for what it is,
Including old outdoor furniture. Make sure you have all the checkin details before you go. We were never sent them and spent several hours finding cell reception and waiting to hear back from the manager. Also for others awareness, there is no TV and it has a Christian theme. We were fine with both but flagging for others.
Excellent property with tasteful decorations and furnishings. Little details like heated floors and positionable bed were great surprises. Forest location, but close neighbors. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!
The property was very clean and new. Its a perfect getaway for a couple. Off the beaten path, it is very quiet for a weekend of relaxation. I would recommend the property.
This was a stunning retreat close to the city and is a perfect hideway for busy couples to come and reconnect. The views are breathtaking and unit is stunningly decorated. With the Shenandoah Getaway Houses ALWAYS booked, we thought this was a great substitute but it actually ended up being a better choice. The mountain view unit is a few hundred feet off a road. The road isn't busy though.
