Mount Vernon Bungalow was built in 1912, originally the Harrington Home according to the Prescott Historical documents. This three bedroom, two bathroom has unique Mission Style touches with eclectic, modernized mid-century furnishings. Mount Vernon Bungalow is a beautiful home to gather with friends & family, it sleeps six. Mount Vernon is a historic tree-lined street 10 minutes walking distance to Downtown Prescott. The front porch is perfect for enjoying the Arizona weather.
Breathe in that delicious mountain air as you find solace in the winter snow or cool summer weather. Listen to the rustling of the pine trees as you relax on the lovely deck, Prescott offers year round activities including Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo in July, special events at Halloween, Veterans Day parade, Thanksgiving, Lighting of the Courthouse in early December, Christmas festivities, and The Whiskey Row Boot Drop for the New Years Eve Event. The summer Concert Series brings free events to the Courthouse Square. Bring your chairs or blanket, picnic basket and enjoy the music on the Courthouse Square. Numerous one-of-a-kind restaurants and coffee shops downtown offer culinary delights for everyone from carnivores to vegans and to those who are gluten free.
Prescott offers many hiking trails from light and easy to those for the more adventurous seeking a more rugged terrain. You may want to go see the Grand Canyon which is 2-1/2 hours away.
Beautiful Sedona is 1 1/2 hours away, Jerome is 1 hour and Flagstaff 2 hours away. If you want to see some local animals then our very own Heritage Park Zoo is a short 25 minute drive. The Granite Dells park is a gorgeous picturesque adventure and to name a few others we have Goldwater lake, Willow Creek and Lynx Lake. So many wonderful places to experience and enjoy!
INSIDE THE HOME
Living room: The open concept living room features plenty of windows to allow the natural light fill the space. Guests may enjoy their evening by the fireplace while streaming their favorite shows on the Smart TV. Or enjoy vinyl's on the record player. There is a dining table that fits 6-8 people, a built in buffet which is stocked with seasonal dishware for guests to entertain. The home is features tasteful seasonal décor throughout the year.
Kitchen: A lot of thought has gone into stocking this home to provide you with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. Appliances include refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a carafe coffee pot, gas oven/stove, toaster. Plenty of counter space and fully stocked for all your cooking needs.
Bedroom1: This first bedroom is located just off the entry of the home, with window views of Mt. Vernon Avenue. Queen sized bed, two chest of drawers, side tables and lamps and offers a private bathroom.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is located off the dining area, with a queen sized bed, side table with lamps, dresser, closet and an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Sleeping area: Just off the second bedroom (with a door to separate and a secondary entrance) is an additional sleeping area with a twin day bed and trundle, side table and lamps. Lots of windows for natural light and trees providing shade.
Bathroom 1: This bathroom is located in the first bathroom. It features a walk-in shower, single sink vanity and toilet. It is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Bathroom 2: This bathroom is located in the second bedroom. It features a shower/tub combo, single sink vanity and toilet. It is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Laundry area: Off the kitchen, you will find the washer and dryer with a supply of laundry soap and dryer sheets for your use.
Game room: The game room is perfect for families & friends. It features a couch, Smart Tv, a table & chairs and a fireplace. There are various games & puzzles for guests to enjoy.
OUTSIDE
Mount Vernon Bungalow is located in a historic district, surrounded by Victorian and Craftsmen homes. The neighborhood features tree lined sidewalks & lamp posts making it perfect for evening strolls. Guests may enjoy the front porch swing or outdoor chairs which overlook the grass lawn.

Guests may park in the driveway, which will hold two vehicles or there is street parking directly in front of the home. Please note, this property has a small studio that is occupied by a full-time tenant. They have passed our companies intensive background check prior to renting.
BEFORE BOOKING please note that if your reservation requires a pet fee, this fee will NOT be shown at time of booking. The $115 pet fee will be charged and payable through Airbnb once you've made us aware of the pet. It’s the guest's responsibility to let us know within 48 hours of booking if there are any pets, service animals or additional guests that weren’t originally listed at the time of booking. Changes made to the reservation after 48 hours of time of booking are subject to a $35 change of reservation fee in addition to the pet fee and/or additional guest fee.
Rules and Policies
You must be at least 25 to rent. Only registered guests at the property, let us know if you are planning on having outside guests at any time during your stay.
PMI Northern Arizona is a Full Service Property Management company, we do have and require a Property/Region Specific Vacation Rental Agreement be signed separate from what is required by Airbnb. This contract will be sent after Airbnb confirms the booking with our office.
Pets or no pets: It’s the guest’s responsibility to make PMI Northern Arizona aware of a service animal or emotional support animal that will be staying at the property before check in. Once made aware, you will be sent an email of our policy on this matter. When we’ve confirmed your service or emotional support animal, you’re required to sign an Animal Addendum in addition to the standard contract.
Guests will be sent check-in instructions three days prior to arrival.

• No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
VACATION CODE OF HONOR: Only registered guests are permitted to enjoy the property, home and amenities at all times. Please do not jeopardize your stay by permitting guests and/or visitors other than those listed on your agreement. As a courtesy to our neighbors, we adhere to, abide by the Golden Rule.
