Great location

Great location the host was super very friendly and helpful . yes the place needs a little work but for the price there is no better place hope to rent this place again on our next trip to Hawaii

Great location but….

I’ll list our concerns about the property: • Meandering ants in the bathroom and kitchen • Smell of wet cat fur when we first checked in • We killed one cockroach on the stairway when we first checked in •Unit needs to be cleaned more thoroughly (floors were dirty, need more dusting , etc) • Termite droppings by the master bedroom closet door and the bathroom door • Nice view from the balcony but I don’t know if it’s safe to be out there • The door to the balcony could not close good, big openings on the top of door frame • The door to the bathroom could not close good, made an attempt to close it but was showered with termite droppings • Bathroom towels smelled of smoke • Comforter had a stain on it • The bed in the smaller bedroom sagged in the middle • I tried sitting on the sofa in the living room and needed help getting up • No soap and hair dryer in the bathroom What worked • The air conditioners in the bedroom • The refrigerator and microwave, did not need to use the stove • We had hot water for bathing but we did not turn on the cold water tap Overall, the unit is really run down and needs a lot of work. We treated our unit as a stay in a mountain cabin.
