Perfect for anyone that is looking to enjoy the quiet beauty of country living and nature. A morning admiring the sunrise and mountains in the distance are a perfect way to start the day! Look no further!

This is the perfect stay! If you just want to get away or like us we stayed for a wedding in town. Everything was as described and it was just lovely! Will definitely stay again when we come to town!

Wonderful stay in paradise!

We had a fabulous time staying at southern sage. Kelly was the most wonderful host and the property was the best we've ever stayed at. The southern sage 4 legged ambassador, Blu, Was so friendly and almost came home with us. We can't wait to stay here again for our next visit As the property was All you can hope for 💜

Absolutely Perfect!

We had such a wonderful time at Southern Sage! This home is charming and so full of character! Kelly was the perfect host and thought of all the details. From fresh baked cookies to yoga mats, nothing was left out. I will definitely visit Southern Sage again!

You won't be sorry

The property is absolutely beautiful and Kelly goes above and beyond for her guests. Fresh roses at the door when you walk in with clippings from the rose trees throughout. You have everything you would need, plus more, in the home. The front porch was my favorite place to sit as our four-legged babies roamed the fenced yard. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay close to the NC Zoo

My family stayed at Southern Sage while surprising our kids with a weekend at the zoo. It has great space with the 3 king size beds and plenty of outdoor area for exploring. We sat outside on the patio area one night looking at the stars and spent the second night around the fire pit. The house is beautifully decorated with art and lots of plants, but maybe not friendly for kids under age 6. Kelly was a wonderful host that lives adjacent to the property and had really helpful information on the area. Highly recommend eating at the Village in Denton for breakfast and dinner. We will be coming back!

Cared- for & so comfortable!

What a charming house and property, filled with comforts and ways to relax. Kelly was amazing and extremely communicative from pre-booking and through our stay. All that we needed was right there in the house, which was spotless! This felt like a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle and the chance to just be….comfortable, active, calm, entertained and more! We explored some of the vast property; we loved that the house area was fully fenced for our dog. Her home is a wonderful place to spend some time!

County Living at Its Best!

First off, it’s clear that Kelly wants her guests to be happy. She makes provisions for each and every one., even her yard is fenced in so that our road weary Tess, a 14 yr old aussiedoodle could run and roam. She’s made the outdoors as welcoming as her house. We all arrived at the same time, but that didn’t phase Ms Kelly, who had prepared cookies for us, and had a massage therapist from town available for the road weary guests! Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, which we did, a coffee pot that makes a lot at a time, very sturdy flatware that’s comfortable to use, and nice tableware, napkins and placemats. Good internet and her TV is amazing. Good thing we had a techie with us because for some people of a certain age, it would be daunting. Some people meaning us! The bed in the master bedroom is the best mattress I’ve ever slept on, including my own. Towels are thick and snowy white. She’s thought of everything! So its an old farmhouse, comfy and quiet, and well situated to so many things that area has to offer. Although the day’s activities, as well as previous travelling days,, had left us mainly uninterested in dining out, we did fond good take away, and did that very thing! Thank you Kelly for providing a very very nice and comfortable place to make a new friend and catch up with a 50+ year friendship in person! We are much older, somewhat wiser, I hope, but still love the same things about each other that drew us together .
