Everything as advertised. We had 4 adults and 4 teens and a lot of room for all of us. Views were great and communication with Dan was fantastic. Very close to everything. No issues at all!
Definitely would book again! Very clean and neat! Plenty of space for our big family. Driveway big enough for at least 4-5 cars! Pool and hot tub was a huge hit! The views were incredible at night and so peaceful!
We enjoyed our stay here! We had 5 adults and 3 kids! Plenty of room and the kids loved the indoor pool. All of the rooms were very nice with your own bathroom. Only con was that within 1 hour of being there all of the our feet were filthy. The floors were not clean.
Other than that it was a beautiful stay and we would come back! The property owner responds very promptly as well! We saw multiple bears at this property!
My sisters and I decided to have a weekend in Gatlinburg and decided to book at this property. There was originally going to be one other family member attending, but she ended up staying home. There were six of us in total and we had a wonderful time.
The cabin is spacious and we really enjoyed all of the deck areas. There was plenty of room to enjoy meals together and to enjoy the pool table, hot tub, and pool. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and that was fantastic. The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed our time here.
We had a great time, but here are a couple of tips I would give future visitors to make your trip even better:
-Bring your own beach towels
-Bring extra dishwasher tabs, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. They provide a starter pack but you will need more.
-Check the propane before you start to grill! We should have done this and learned the hard way! :)
-If uphill curvy roads scare you, have someone else drive and close your eyes. All kidding aside, it isn't a terrible drive but especially while driving into the sun, it can be a little scary.
Overall, this is a really great place to stay and we enjoyed the trip a lot. We hope to visit again soon.
Had a wonderful stay the forst week of October, for my birthday. We had everything we needed and the accommodations were top notch. I would advise that the mattress on the main floor is incredibly hard, so maybe a soft foam mattress topper is in order? Otherwise, the rooms were wonderful! Excellent communication with the property owner and they even allowed us to stay an additional night. It was a very positive experience.
This property was perfect for our family. Beautiful view with plenty of bears, and convenient location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Having all the amenities downstairs for the young adult provided us with plenty of time to catch up with family on the spacious decks. Will definitely stay at one of their properties again.
This house was perfect for our stay. We saw lots on bears and birds. Very spacious for our group of 6 adults and 2, 11 year olds. Location was perfect, easy to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Our family trip was amazing. We saw a total of 7 different bears walking the road which made the trip priceless. No fault of owners but there was construction of a cabin next door being built so we had that. still a beautiful property with a fun drive getting there. Nice flat driveway and plenty of room for the family. Was a nice yearly trip no issues with anything.
Pros: Great location just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Comfortable beds and nice amenities. Great to have a full bathroom connected to each bedroom. Clean.
Cons: Guests found that the pool was too cold to swim. Very close to neighboring properties. While the mountains are definitely visible, views are obstructed.
First, I want to say the owner was very responsive to the challenges we had. What I would like the owner to think about is did they already know about these challenges, but failed to get them corrected requiring me to ask for them to be corrected?
- Pool door lock failure: This lock did not fail during our stay, but we discovered this when we arrived. This is a serious safety/liability failure. We had small children who were able to open this door. We could not let the children play in the lower level without supervision for fear of this unsecured environment. This took away from the, "get away/vacation" rest we wanted for our parents of small children. The owner developed a work around to secure the room, but thsi took time working with the owner and then talking with the service technician. A service company came in, diagnosed the problem, but did not fix it.
- Fireplace did not work: This required multiple texts to help the owner understand the problem. I felt like I was at home and that I was doing their job of diagnosing the problem. A technician was called in, it worked onetime and failed. We didn't get to use one of the enjoyable benefits of this property the whole week.
- Property pictures don't show 2 units under construction: These less than desirable views took away from the outdoor experience. If I would have seen these views I would not have rented this property.
The cabin is clean and cozy. The kids loved the pool, I was surprised at how warm it was in the winter. Usually indoor pools are so cool in the winter that they are hard to swim in. This one was pleasant. The girls also loved the pool table and the hot tub. This cabin has the best parking area of any cabin that I have stayed in. It is flat and large. Don't let me forget about the beds, they are a welcome comfort after a long day of hiking in the Smokys.
The house was beautiful, furnished well and very comfortable. We saw 3 bears at the house! The only issues that we had were due to the cleaning crew and I have made the owner aware. Everything else was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful property and area. We saw so many bears! Nice and close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Had a great trip with family.
We saw bear from the cabin on multiple occasions. Plenty of room for everyone. The cabin owners are very friendly and quick to respond if needed. Kids loved having the pool to keep them busy on our lazier days. The parking area was great, loved that it was fairly flat and we were able to bring our corn hole boards to play plus it was large enough for multiple vehicles. We truly enjoyed our stay
Beautiful cabin. We had an issue when we arrived and it was quickly resolved. We enjoyed going to the outdoor pool at the North Clubhouse. It is the closest clubhouse to the cabin. The views are beautiful from there. We saw bears at the house almost every day. There is a large flat parking area. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
House was very comfortable. Love having so many king sized beds! Just know it takes about 15 minutes down windy roads to get anywhere. Would return if back in the area!
