Great Location to See the Sites

We enjoyed our stay here. It's in close proximity to some of our favorite stops: DeSoto National Monument where we love to go for picnics and walks, Robinson Preserve where you can view beautiful scenery and wildlife, Palma Sola Botanical Gardens and the Riverwalk in downtown Bradenton where we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Pier 22. The house is very comfortable, but the living room furniture is rather dated. The king size bed was very comfortable with a lovely view of the pool. The pool was great, and we enjoyed lounging around it. The grill, however was too dirty to use. We also noticed that the few times we used the oven, it smoked, so it could probably use a good cleaning too. But overall, it was was an enjoyable vacation and a perfect location to visit all of our favorite destinations.aaround it.

Comfy home with pool

We had a comfortable stay. The living room furnature was cozy. We loved the walking path at the preserve nearby. The pool and lanai were lovely with the afternoon sun. The household items and supplies were so appreciated. The hosts were quick to respond when contacted.

Week vacation

We enjoyed staying here. The pool was nice and warm. They had pool floats for the girls. The house had ample space for our family. Everything that we needed we found. It was in a convenient location, but was still quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Family getaway

Perfect location/house for all the local beaches. Our family loved longboat key beach. Such a beautiful, quiet area to swim and it was not crowded. Definitely cannot wait for the next family vacation. Owner was accessible any time my needs were, and they were met. House is beautiful and the pool is a bonus! We loved the pool time. :)

Great, spacious house.Open floor plan, kitchen big enough for 8 of us. Little bit dated and no heater in a swimming pool outside. But fun to have a pool table

Review of Palma Sola - Bradenton House 2023

The house was just as shown on the VRBO website. Great location for things to do. Appliances were all newer and worked very well. Nice TVs in all the rooms that we used. WIFI worked well (only had to restart once) over our two months stay. Also, there is ample, comfortable seating in the main living room. The outside had a very nice patio just outside the sliding glass doors. Plenty of chairs and a table to have lunch, etc. Unfortunately, the house does not have a dining table (the area is occupied by a pool table) and the breakfast nook has no padding, so you are sitting directly on the wood. A vacuum cleaner would have been useful. The outside grill was very dirty (grease everywhere) and we did not use it during our stay. The neighbor’s large tree overhangs the house and subsequently deposited leaves and pollen into the pool and yard at a high rate. Pool water is only heated by the sun and due to the large neighbor’s tree, it was well after noon before the sun is on the pool. While there is no lawn, there needs to be someone to look after the leaves and weeds as these accumulated quite a bit during our stay.
