What a great lake house!

We spent a lovely weekend at the lake house with friends/family and what a gem this house is! We own a lake house ourselves and we were truly impressed at the details and absolutely loved the view! We cannot recommend this house enough if you're looking for a relaxing place to stay!

Lake house getaway.

This house is beautifully appointed and full of great amenities. The sunsets on the deck were memorable.The master suite was upstairs and offered much privacy from the rest of the house. We will come back here on our next visit to the area.Randy F

Great Time at Deer Hollow

Myself and 5 long-time friends from all over the country met for a long weekend at Deer Hollow and we all had a great time. We would definitely stay there again. The property is great and the home, which has been recently renovated is beautiful. The master suite is particularly impressive. Fort Worth is close enough that we made several trips there for various things. If I had any criticism it would be that, though there are 2 bedrooms, everyone sleeping in bunks has to pass through 1 of them. It was not an issue for us, but might be an in convenience for some. Anyway, our stay was great and we’d happily stay there again.

Loved Deer Hollow!!

Our family travelled to the Fort Worth area to see a concert. There were 6 of us and everyone loved the house! It was in a beautiful, peaceful location out of the hustle & bustle but a short drive to most things we wanted to do. Deer Hollow has a beautiful view of the lake. We saw deer & bunnies on the property. It was clean, beautifully decorated & comfortable. Everyone had their own space & the 3 bathrooms made getting ready easy. The hosts were accommodating and made our stay wonderful. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Awesome property

Very nicely remodeled home with a great view of the lake. Owners were super helpful with a small issue the fridge had and it was repaired quickly. The house is tastefully decorated, has everything one could need, and is perfectly situated for a relaxing stay near the lake and away from it all.

Your house is lovely, very comfortable. Not your topic Vrbo… The remodel and all your finished and furnishings with the attention to detail were done very well . Noticed & Enjoyed ! The Christmas tree & garland was very nice. I stayed in the upstairs . Love the bathroom floor and shower the marble beautiful. Furniture on the pouched and fire pit area.. you thought of everything. Beautiful house with a great lake view.

The house was perfect for our family weekend getaway in Dallas. It had everything we needed - a great kitchen, a nice, large, comfortable family room, a dining room and plenty of bathrooms and beds for everyone in our group, which was a 7 people. The house was very clean and all of the appliances, TVs, etc. are nice. The view from the house and the back patio of Eagle Mountain Lake is very scenic. The area is fairly rural so there isn’t much around in terms of restaurants - but there are plenty of stores within a 10 minute drive.

OUTSTANDING

I have stayed at many VRBOs, very few achieve the quality of this home. The home itself is gorgeous, the decor and furniture are clean and comfortable, but high quality. The home is very open, our group of 10, plus 2-3 day time guests (one of which was my 2 yr old daughter) never felt cramped. The master is massive and the rooms have everything you need. You are right on the lake, and no more than a 15 minute drive from anything you might need. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful. If I had to leave one way to improve, it would be to add a full length mirror in the main downstairs. Otherwise, this home is among the top of those on this platform, especially in this price range. I cannot say enough wonderful things. Plenty of parking, secluded but not too far away, just wonderful.

We have lovingly and thoughtfully restored this 1945 farmhouse in 2021-2022. We invite you to enjoy the cozy, relaxing interior and the quiet, tranquil exterior. We fell in love with this property because of the peaceful, natural setting. The grounds surrounding the property are purposely not overly manicured, as we prefer to preserve the natural grasses and growth for the native wildlife. The wildflowers in the spring are absolutely gorgeous, the lake offers endless fun in the summer, and leaves and sunsets in the fall are picture worthy. We always enjoy watching the deer that frequent the property morning and evening. The lot is lakefront and sits high above the water offering spectacular views; however, the very rustic path down to the lake is steep and uneven.

What makes this property unique

Deer Hollow's location is absolutely perfect for enjoying hiking, dining, shopping, and events on the west side of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Eagle Mountain Lake hiking trails are a short 6 minute drive. The Fort Worth Stockyards are just 30 minutes away, as is one of our personal favorites - Lonesome Dove Bistro. To the north, and just over 30 minutes away, is the Tanger Outlets offering great outlet shopping. Texas Motor Speedway is a 30-40 minute drive for our racing enthusiast friends. To the south, the Forth Worth Museum of Science & History is approximately 30 minutes and the Fort Worth Zoo is approximately 40 minutes away. There's so much to explore in the Fort Worth area, this is just a small sampling to get your creative ideas flowing.
