The space
Welcome to your home away from home! This thoughtfully designed vacation rental features an open floor plan with high ceilings, creating a spacious and airy atmosphere for a relaxing stay. The living room offers comfortable seating on two sofas and one chair, a 50" flat screen TV (with cable and streaming services), as well as a cozy fireplace. The dining room, just off the living room, features a table with seating for 8. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances including a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The main house has central AC and heat, the guest house is heat only (no AC).

Large windows surrounding the living area provide ample natural light and French Doors lead to the backyard with a pool, spa, and outdoor furniture. The oak trees create a natural canopy, providing a shady environment for activities in the backyard, while the sparkling pool is perfect for a refreshing swim on a hot day. The spa is a relaxing addition, offering a warm soak and massage after a long day. This backyard is the perfect place to entertain, soak up the sun, or simply enjoy some peaceful downtime.

The living area is situated at the heart of the house with one private guest suite near the kitchen and three bedrooms down the hallway beyond the living room. The guest suite has a king size bed, bathroom and a patio, offering a private entrance from the back yard. From the living room, as you walk down the hallway, you will find an updated guest bathroom shared by two bedrooms, one room with a comfortable king size bed and the other with two twin size beds. At the end of the hall is the tranquil primary bedroom, with a king size bed, remodeled bathroom, and walk-in closet. Sliding doors from the primary bedroom lead out to the backyard and the detached poolside guest house.

This guest house boasts a comfortable layout, including a queen-size bed, a full bathroom, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. Guests can relax on the loveseat or armchair and enjoy meals at the dining table that seats four. The guest house includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a beautiful garden area, making it the perfect retreat for any visitor.

For those who need to get work done, this home offers an office with a workspace and printer. For leisure, guests can enjoy a variety of pool toys, board games, lawn games, yoga mats, and a pack & play and highchair for families with young children. The property also includes a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer for guest use.

Other things to note
The pool is only heated April through October. There is an additional $100 fee for pool heating. The Spa is heated year-round free of charge.

Only 5 minutes to Healdsburg where you will enjoy world-class wine tasting, shopping, and fine dining! This convenient location is just a short drive to dozens of local wineries including Bricoleur Vineyards, Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards, Kendall Jackson Winery, and J Vineyards & Aperture. You are only 3 minutes to downtown Windsor with restaurants, shopping, Thursday night concerts, movie nights in summer, more wine tasting, and The Farmer's Market. Just a little further down the road is the new Russian River Brewing Company and many other craft breweries - perfect for large group events. Perfect home and location for family gatherings!

This home is spacious, well-appointed, warm, and a perfect location! We were a family of 10: 2 grandparents, 2 married children, and 4 grandchildren. Sarah and Jeff have thought of everything that a family might need for an easy and delightful stay! The beds are extremely comfortable and the home offers lots of privacy in addition to a large area for family dining. The pool is an added plus! Our grandchildren loved swimming at the end of an active day. The area is perfect for families: near Santa Rosa children’s museum, Safari West, bowling, and more. I highly recommend staying at this Windsor, CA VRBO!!

Barrel Tasting at Russian River

We had 5 couples staying in the house that had plenty of room to accommodate us all. Very clean and a fabulous location to wine tasting within the area. The owner was a very good communicator and we had no problems with the house. Plenty of parking areas, large kitchen and great backyard. Would definitely come back to this property.

This home is spacious even better than pictured. The location couldn’t have been better. We had a work team meeting, it was perfect for gathering around the great room and kitchen has everything you need. We all had privacy with the spacious living space. The backyard is perfect. Friends getaway

Ideal property and location for friends gathering. Sonoma valley corridor and short drive from coastal shores. Property comfortably accommodated 3 couples with rooms to spare, large kitchen and seating, and beautiful private yard. This property is a great find and one to keep on the list for a return stay.

Comfortable home in wine country

We had an excellent stay at the Heritage Oak House ! It suited my family beautifully, lots of room, comfortable seating, big kitchen, and of course the pool and spa. Although the house is in a neighborhood, it’s a big yard, and you don’t feel intrusive to the neighbors. Location near market and stores is very convenient. Pristine clean, comfortable bedding, and well maintained. We will stay here again!

Beautiful home

We rented this home for my 40th birthday- it was 5 couples. We each had a comfortable room and lots of great space for cooking, eating and lounging. It’s a great house for a big group! The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and the lot was well maintained. The big oak trees in the backyard are beautiful! I have stayed at many VRBO places and this one was the most accommodating, allowing for an early checkin in, among other small requests. They answered me promptly and professionally. It’s in a great neighborhood and so close to nearby towns- Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and 25-30 min from Calistoga and St. Helena. We would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful getaway

We were able to make great memories with the pool, spa, bbq and the rest of the amenities of this beautiful property. We took a day trip to Lake Sonoma, biked roads nearby, visited the Russian River brewery among other attractions. Our contact person to this home was so kind, responsive, and exceeded our every expectation. Our family had the best time and we can’t wait to return again to this home and make more memories. My entire family loves this home!

Family reunion

That house overall was fabulous for our group of 10 and having the pool house was wonderful although it would’ve been helpful if I had air conditioning because it was we were there two days where it was over 100°, so it was kind of tough even with the windows open to cool it all down. The kitchen had tons of amenities, which we liked. However, we also would have liked to have had some cling wrap/aluminum foil, napkins, and ziplock bags. In the end, we had a wonderful time. It was great at the little ones went to bed that the adults could sit around the pool in the pool in the hot tub in and enjoy that time as well as being at the table outside when it was cooler to play games of the house was so spacious we weren’t bumping into each other which was fabulous so thank you very much for a wonderful experience.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We loved our stay at the Oak House. The house is spacious, well stocked and beautiful. Plenty of space for us to be together and to have quiet time when needed. The backyard was exactly what we were looking for. We played badminton, croquet, and laser tag on the lawn but the biggest draw was the pool. Could hardly get the grandchildren out of it! Pool is large. A nice depth with good shallow end for younger kids. The hosts, Jeff and Sarah, were attentive and responded promptly when I contacted them. They clearly wanted us to enjoy our time at the house. I am very grateful to them for raising pool temperature on a cooler day so my grandchildren could swim. The house is easy to find, in a peaceful neighborhood but also close to everything you need. Shopping and lovely downtown Windsor are about five minutes(maybe less) from house. Kitchen/house well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds with awesome bedding. I highly recommend this house for family/friends to spend quality time together.

There were six women in this 5 bedroom home for an 80th birthday celebration and it really was perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms updated and lovely, living room spacious and accommodating, kitchen clean and updated. Wish it had been warm enough for the pool, next visit will be when weather is warmer. Perfect house for a wine getaway

This house was perfect for our wine weekend getaway. It had plenty of space for everyone and was in a great location. The living spaces are open and there was seating for everyone at the table. We loved the decor. We also enjoyed the heated spa each night, which was a nice nightcap after wine tasting. Overall, would recommend for a large group and hope to be back!
