Windrift Parking

Parking was a mess. Received a gate code but was left a nasty note that said we had to have a parking permit which we were not aware of (must have been in the fine print). The permits were in the lobby available to anyone so I’m not sure why that was needed if we had a gate code! The toilets, washer, ice maker and a/c were all noisy. Other than that everything was fine!

Great Condo and Location

We absolutely loved the condo and the location of it. Our issue was with Liquid Life. Upon arrival, there was a line of cars out into the street all having the same issue as us, which was trying to get into the gate. Apparently, they sent us an email while we were driving down that day with the instructions. The link was not working well and it took us having to pull across the street for 45 minutes before we could get it to work and get into the gate (after paying $60.) After being in the car for 8 hours with a cooler of groceries, this was very frustrating. We called Liquid Life and reached a lady that was on call after hours. We explained the situation and asked her to please call her manager to get a temporary code or anything to help get us in the gate. She did not seem too concerned and we did not receive a call until an hour later after we finally were able to get the link to work. The girl that called back was professional and friendly, it was just too late at that point. Our only suggestion about the condo is that it needs a peep hole in the door and a security lock/latch on the door. One morning, a maintenance guy knocked once and proceeded to come in before I had time to hardly get dressed. That was a little unsettling as well after the night we had just had upon arrival. As two women traveling together, it didn't feel too secure knowing anyone can come inside if you are sleeping or in the shower. Otherwise, the condo was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed it!

Great experience

We were very satisfied and highly impressed with this condo. The decor was very nice and it was super clean! We had great communication with Liquid Life as well. The condo is in a less populated area so the beach and pool were never crowded. I will definitely stay here again!

Very Nice and CLEAN!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. One word: CLEAN! As in, Monica Geller clean! It's also much larger than it looks in the photos. The condo is right next to the state park so it's pretty quiet on that side. One note (and not a criticism): My experience is that most condo rentals will have various things left over (i.e., coffee filters, garlic salt, etc.) They clean out everything before you arrive here. So whereas I would normally check in, then see what I needed from the store, you need to go ahead and get everything for this condo as there is nothing left from the previous guests. Again, not a criticism. Also, being on the first floor you are right over that corner of the pool so if anyone is sitting there and talking you can quickly become part of the conversation. Just an FYI and not a criticism. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful week!

The property was EXACTLY as shown in the pictures. The unit was clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances we used worked as expected (stove, oven, coffee pot, laundry). The beds were comfortable, which is always a worry. Everyone who stayed at the building were families which was nice. The beach was lovely other than the obvious amount of sand that has been washed back out to sea. There were several places where you had to step down about a foot from the beach to the shoreline. There is a company on the beach that rented beach chairs & umbrellas. They did great and set up every day by 8am. We saw an abundance of fish, dolphins, birds, seashells and jelly fish (unfortunately). The location was perfect and a huge bonus not having any buildings between WindDrift and the waterway. The only negative (and it's a small one) was the stress we had every time we left as to whether we would have a parking spot when we returned. Parking is limited and if the building was more occupied, I don't see how all the cars would fit even with a gate entry limiting cars. Luckily, we had a spot every time. Also, you have to purchase a parking pass ahead of time, which I wish the owner of the condo took care of for us. Upon arrival, I didn't have a printed pass and had to locate one (owner not helpful on text but was very responsive). BTW, passes are by the lobby elevators. Would use this condo again, great vacation!

Perfect in every way.

This was a great condo and building for mature guests and families. The condo was spacious, very clean, the linens were wonderful , and beautifully decorated. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.
