Welcome to the Sanborn Retreat. Sleeps 14. Perfect for Large or multiple families with kids. Recently renovated and decorated! Kids will love the kids zone we have created upstairs and the game area in the finished basement with ping pong table. 3 smart TV's. Two miles from the sandy beaches, near tree-lined hiking trails in the nation's newest National park, casino, wineries, boat rentals, zoo, outlet malls, and antique shops. W&D.

The Space:
The perfect getaway for a large family or multiple families. Recently renovated and decorated, and only 2 miles from sandy beaches. Ping Pong Table, 3 smart TVs, and fire pit. Near tree-lined hiking trails in the national park, casino, wineries, boat rentals, cafes, Michigan City Zoo, splash pad and park, outlet malls, & antique shops; the perfect getaway for up to 14 people who want to relax or adventure!

To avoid any confusion, potential guests should thoroughly read ALL information below before requesting to book. (We promise that the info below will better prepare you for your trip and answer 99% of your questions!) Thank you!

UNIT PERKS:
--This house has a sofa bed in the family room & finished basement and can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably.
--This rental includes a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towel will be provided for your use.
--Along with coffee, creamer and sweetener are provided.
--Cooking spray, olive oil, salt/pepper are provided.
--A hair dryer and showering essentials/bath towels are available. Each bedroom has a dresser storage and the master bedroom has hangers for clothing storage. There is also an iron and ironing board.
--Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for the guests.
--A few board games are available for your use in the game room in the basement
--A fire pit/chairs are available in the backyard for your use. Guests can bring their own firewood.
--Guests can park up to three cars in the area behind the house. Free public street parking is also in front of the house.
--The house does not have central AC, it has multiple window AC units to keep the house cool during the summer.

TECHNOLOGY:
--A large, flat screen smart TV is hooked up in your living area & master bedroom, though we recommend the outdoors over the tube! ;)
--High Speed Wifi is provided.
--A washer/dryer is available for your use in the home.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:
--AirBnB users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.
--Renters that are above the age of 25.
--A maximum of 12-14 guests per reservation. Extra guests are not allowed.
--We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. To keep the unit in excellent condition for future guests, we are firm on these rules. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

***Note that if you are bringing infants/babies, the unit is NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.

**FOR STAYS LONGER THAN 21 DAYS**
An additional $100 cleaning fee will be applied to ensure the continued cleanliness and maintenance of the unit. This charge helps us provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout your extended stay.

Getting Around:
A car is the best mode of transportation around the area. Feel free to bring your own bikes, as biking along the lakefront is beautiful.

Other Things to Note:
Check-In Information:

- Guests will receive detailed check-in instructions and a key code for entry a couple of days before their scheduled arrival, with a reminder sent on the morning of check-in. All communication will be provided via your direct booking messenger.
- Please note: Michigan City is in Central Standard Time (CST). Check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM to allow time for cleaning and preparing the property for the next guests.
- Our cancellation policy is moderate, providing flexibility for your travel plans.
- Pet Policy: A $50 pet fee per pet will apply if you're bringing pets.
