About this property
Nanasu-Set on 20 acres with Outstanding Views of the Methow!
Nanasu is a 2,400 sq. foot house that is actually an amalgam of an existing home that was nicely added onto, and then well landscaped. It has a varied outdoor space in summer, with sitting spots in the sun or shade. Protected or open. Looking without to the south and west, or within, to the landscaped lawn and garden. It is located just 3 miles from downtown Twisp, 8 miles to Winthrop, and 14 miles to Loup Loup Ski bowl for downhill, luge (sledding) and nordic skiing. The general layout has a large living area, and somewhat separate dining and kitchen space(no dishwasher available). Off the living room is an office, with a fold-down queen bed, and it can be used as a guest bedroom. This room, as well as the living room both have walk-through doors out to the patios. The main floor also has a large entry area for winter clothes and boots, as well as a full bath with laundry. The house has three cozy fireplaces, and a heat pump, for extra heat (and A/C).
On the second floor is the entertainment space with large TV screen and two lounge chairs. This room also has a door to a nice second-floor east facing balcony. A nice coffee spot. There is also the prinicipal queen master suite with a 3/4 bath, with heated floors. The view is open and striking.
This house is located on Nanasu Rd, which is where the name comes from. The word 'Nanasu' is a Sanskrit word meaning 'the realization of one's dreams', which is wonderful, especially considering that the owners hope to live here one day. Until then, you get to share. When we were originally writing this webpage, we asked the owner if she wanted to write anything. She said 'No, but what I will say, if this is helpful, is that, what drew us to Nanasu was the feeling of being invited to be a part of the valley. The mountains and the valley welcomed us and we are so enamored with how the house features, respects, and blends in with the environment. There is a sense of serene harmony while being elegantly functional and efficient. We are so pleased it is built "energy-smart" with all the LED lighting, on-demand hot water heater and energy-efficient heating and windows." And there you have it.

Make sure to check pass reports(and they can change while you are en route) and print out the directions before you leave.
2)Trail Access/Closure Information:
If you are coming to hike, bike, or ski on a trail or system of trails which happen to be closed before or during your stay, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this.
