Quick Carmel Getaway
This property was good for myself and my family with a 1 1/2 year old. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood which was amazing, and close to Carmel and Monterey for adventures. Child friendly, my son had a blast running around playing on the stairs and the couch. Plenty of cooking pots and pans for a small home cooked meal for us as well. However, Check in process was not good though. There were (2) different door codes to get into the property and neither one were the single code that was sent to us by property management. So that added some unnecessary time and frustration to begin our vacation. Luckily the property management phone was available to help. Cleanliness was average because there was a random coffee mug still out with coffee in it, food particles in the dishwasher and a few dirt spots on the carpet. Not really what we’d expect with a large cleaning fee you pay for. And parking is VERY tight. While the garage was not available to park a vehicle inside, due to the neighbor parking their car all weekend, we did use it to store our bikes and bike trailer for my son while we stayed. Overall, this is a good spot for a quick little weekend getaway that’s going to be peaceful and quiet.
