*Our Pet Fee is $200 per Dog with a maximum of 2 dogs.*

:::Furniture:::
We kindly ask guests bring their own personal dog beds. We absolutely do not allow dogs to be on any of the sofas or on any of the beds. If we see dog hair or urine on the sofas and beds, there will be an additional cleaning fee for extra deep cleaning and laundering of $200. Pets must go to the bathroom OUTSIDE ONLY. We also kindly want to remind all guests to please remove any pet debris (pet waste) from the yard. If we have to remove any pet debris (pet waste) from the yard, that will result in an additional cleaning fee of $75. Please put it in a bag and place the bag in any of the three outdoor trash bins we have provided.

We need to have strict rules in place for dogs to maintain the cleanliness of our cabin. We hope you understand. Our goal and hope is that we will not have to charge our guests any additional cleaning fees unless it is absolutely necessary to do so. We want to welcome our guests and their dogs to enjoy and have a great time!

:::Safety for Your Dog:::
Please keep in mind, the cabin is on 48 acres of mountainous land. We do not have a safety fence specific for dogs. We have open fences to distinguish our property line and the pasture land. Always keep an eye on your dog while they go to the bathroom outside.

Perfect for my 30th birthday girls trip!
I stayed here with several friends to celebrate my birthday. The house was a perfect setup in good or bad weather with the multiple decks, hot tub, and big window next to the fire place. Our first night we saw a meteor shower from the loft bedroom deck! The house was very clean, well stocked, and cozy. The host was very responsive, helpful, and thoughtful - she surprised us with a s’mores kit and happy birthday banner for my birthday! The driveway definitely does require 4WD/AWD, so don’t sleep on that note. If you have 2WD, you won’t make it up, but if you have 4WD/AWD you will have no trouble. There was plenty of comfortable living, sitting, eating, and sleeping space for all 10 of us. It is a few minutes from a grocery store and a quick, easy into drive Asheville (we spent lunch and the afternoon in Asheville). The house is private and the property was great for trekking around and exploring during the day. This was a perfect getaway and I would very highly recommend both the host and the house! My group is already talking about when we can get back for round 2!

Brilliant inside and out
Our weekend was incredible here, none of us could believe the beauty of the cabin, the area, and the sheer cleanliness. The owners were very responsive, prompt, and kind. Everything about the cabin from the amazing spot for the hot tub to the fire pit and wonderful spacious rooms were the absolute best. It has everything one could need for a stay sans food, of course. Every aspect of the cabin is incredibly thought out and beautiful. They even had a binder with recommendations in the area and Asheville. My family didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to be back next year if possible! I whole heartily recommend, one of the best trips we’ve ever had!

Base Camp for NC Day Hikes
We are a group of HS friends, who get together every year and hike somewhere. We started doing this when we turned 40 and this was our 25th year. (You do the math). This was a wonderful spot from which to hit the mountains, and the AT. Marshall is a charming town and we highly recommend the Star Diner. The hot tub was a added benefit to soak our weary bones from hiking the mountains. We highly recommend this spot, but note the challenge of the driveway - they are not kidding, go up the first time in the daylight :-).

Overall a great cabin!
The only thing I would say about this cabin, is the incline of the driveway needs to be mentioned before booking. We drove over 4 hours to get to the cabin, and we notified 1 hour before that the driveway was a very steep incline that needed 4x4. Other than that, it was great! Hot tub, grill and all other amenities were well taken care of.

Amazing memories
Tania's communication was amazing as we prepared for the trip to a new part of the country for us. Upon arrival, our two families confirmed that there was more than enough space for us all to sleep, gather, and find solitude when needed. We really enjoyed our stay in Marshall County - our nights around the fire pit, the day trips to neighboring towns, and rafting the French Broad. After each day, we'd come back to a safe, comfortable home with gorgeous views and the peace and serenity needed for any vacation. I would love to go back soon. Thank you Tania!

Great stay
Beautiful property tucked away in the mountains. Lots of peace and quiet and beautiful starry skies. Make sure you bring your four-wheel-drive as the driveway is quite steep in places.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat
We were visiting the area for a family reunion and needed room to spread out for adults, teens and tweens. The cabin was the perfect option after a day spent catching up with far flung relatives. The cabin location is very quiet and relaxing. The decks and windows provided stunning views of the rain storms and low hanging clouds. The decks are perfect for a relaxing read and catching up on social media. The wifi was excellent, to much going on to try the television. The teens/tweens zoomed in on the smores and hot cocoa supplies and enjoyed an evening sitting by the fire pit. Tanya was wonderful and so helpful during our stay, special thanks for bringing the firewood and sticks. A wonderful place to stay after a busy day of reunion and sight seeing. We all highly recommend this cabin.

Excellent getaway
The cabin was as beautiful as seen in pictures. The instructions for check-in and communication from owners were excellent. Everything we needed was there. I would definately book another stay. Only thing I would suggest is to state in description that a need a 4x4 all wheel vehicle is strongly suggested for driveway.
