Ennis is a great spot

We enjoyed our stay and found Ennis to be a great spot- easy to make day trips as needed to see other sights. The house is situated with a great view of the mountains and river.

What a GEM of a vacation home!

Everything about the home was exceptional; couldn't have been any better but the view from the back patio was so good we found it difficult to leave the house at times. But we did make our day trips, fly fishing on the Madison, kayaking on the Madison and Cliff Lake, hiking in the National Forest in the Ruby Valley. Now we are seriously looking at real estate in the Madison Valley. Unfortunately Brian isn't ready to sell:-))

Amazing experience

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary. We drove in at night, so we couldn’t see anything, but when we woke up the next morning...wow! The views out the master and living room windows were stunning! We saw deer and antelope every day, even had some unexpected snow. Just a gorgeous place. Brian responded quickly to our questions and made everything super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

The view is spectacular and the birds and deer are fun to watch! The sounds of the sandhill cranes are especially fun. A great place to vacation

incredible sunsets

Stayed in this house for 2 weeks in August and absolutely fell in love with everything about it. The home was clean and had everything we needed. It was far enough away from town to feel secluded but close enough if you had to run in for anything. The proximity to the river was perfect if you are looking for a fishing base camp from which to launch your daily trips. The owner was easily reachable to answer any questions that came up. What we loved most about the house was that it had a magical back porch that we spent hours on every morning and evening. The views of the Madison river and Madison range from the porch just never got old. It had a lovely manicured lawn that was great for the kids to run around on. Anyway, I could go on and on about all the great things. I hope to spend many many more trips sipping morning coffee and/or an afternoon beverage on that back porch. cheers T

Beautiful home! Super clean and comfortable. The owner was very accessible and accommodating. He even let out my dogs during the day while I was out fishing. Will definitely be a repeat guest whenever we are in Ennis. Wonderful!

You just cant explain.

House is great, but no way to explain view. Everything is first class and Brian is great. If you’re looking to stay away from the crowds, have a great view, an awesome house, and be relatively close to Ennis; Then this is your place.

Heaven on earth!

What an amazing week we had in Montana. This house is beyond spectacular. The views from the back porch were mesmerizing. I actually spent hours just looking at the mountains and wildlife from the porch. We also spent time rafting in the river. This house was in the perfect location for that also. Our host could not have been more thoughtful or kind. Everything you need is in the house. The house was immaculate! I honestly can not say enough about this house, the location, the host - just the entire experience. Everything far exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back!

Everything you need for a great family vacation.

Nicely furnished, updated, very comfortable, fully equipped Montana home. We really enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and the porch overlooking the Madison Valley - to watch the every-changing sky. Great location. Liked fishing the close-by Madison River and enjoyed the 4th of July parade and restaurants in Ennis.

Family Vacation

We stayed at the house in July 2014 and wish we could have extended our vacation because it was such a nice place. You can't ask for much nicer, warm and welcoming, and awesome views that you get at this house. We will definitely return next year.

Great location and house

Great rental home and location. The Madison river is a short walk away, and plenty of wildlife to watch right off of the back porch. Really enjoyed the wood fireplace, as we made fires every night. The kitchen was fully stocked which allowed us to cook each night. 60 minutes from West Yellowstone, 75 minutes from Dillon (beaver head/big sky rivers), and close to Bozeman. Perfect central location for all of the activities that we wanted to do. Can't wait to go back! Great owners, and very easy to work it.

Home Away From Home

An excellent rental property with an owner that is engaged in his renter's experience. We enjoyed an extended stay in early summer and were most taken by the breath taking scenery (nothing better than sunrise on the back porch with a cup of coffee). The house has all of the conveniences yet it is fairly remote. Flyfishing below Varney Bridge (10 min. walk) offers great opportunities not to mention the fun of stalking smaller trout on the spring creek down the hill from the house.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME ( with that western feel )

SPECTACULAR VIEWS!!! ... wildlife viewing ( Deer, Sandhill Cranes, Antelope), etc) right from the back deck. Homey feel with all the amenities. Walk to Varney Bridge, Cool town of Ennis close by, Close enough for day trips to Yellowstone NP. Very roomy and clean with brand new appliances. We can't wait to go back!!

Incedible Vacation

WOW!!! What a clean, comfortable rental that has it all -- washer, dryer, dishwasher, outdoor grill and all the necessities to feel at home. Everything as in impecable condition. The view from all sides are spectacular. For us, the question is not whether to return, but when?
