Enjoy this mid-century Spanish styled historic home in the sought after South Park neighborhood, walking distance to Balboa park, local shops and restaurants, 10 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to 3 different beaches.

The whole front house and driveway is available for guests to use! This is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath house with living room, dining room and den equipped with desk. There is free off street parking in the driveway which fits up to 3 cars and two quaint sitting areas on the front deck. There is a back house on the property with long term tenant, the back yard and garage are for their use only.

Awesome bday

It was a great little house I rented for a small bday dinner there was four of us and the house was plenty love that it’s easy to walk to everything!

Misleading listing

Negatives: I found the listing to be misleading because it said there was free parking. And in busy San Diego, free parking sounds like a dream. Along with that statement, it includes a photo of the front of the house which features a drive-way. I assumed that drive-way was the “free parking”. After traveling all day, we got to the house and found several cars already in the driveway, and no available street parking. I messaged the host who assured me that there should be “ample” street parking, which simply wasn’t true. We had to park really far from the house and walk uphill with our bags to get back to it. I was really upset about this because I was already worn out from a long day of traveling. Another negative- I think someone lives in the back part of the property, or else they just hang out there during the day, because we kept hearing loud noises like slamming weights coming from the backyard area. We didn’t realize anyone else was going to be on the property so that was slightly frightening to us. Positives: The house was spacious and clean, and the photos were mostly accurate. Two bedroom, one and a half bathroom. In the morning the neighborhood was really peaceful and quiet, which was nice. And it’s a short walk to eateries, and Target.

Beautiful South Park!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had a full kitchen for us to cook delicious meals. Also, very close to so many great restaurants, San Diego Zoo, Balboa park and grocery stores. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.
