Excellent stay
Quiet listing just off the street was as advertised with wonderful heated floors and plenty of daylight. It's just far enough from Old Town that it is super quiet, but an easy walk for food and coffee. It is also fairly close to the Sea if you like an early morning run along the Ocean. Parking was easy, but head's up on the passage way as it is a bit narrow. We made it through with a full size SUV rental though. Landlords were quick to respond to questions and we really enjoyed our stay. Galway is wonderful

Immaculately clean, class location
Never stayed in a place so sparkling clean. Very comfortable beds, three separate bedrooms, very quiet despite being only a very short walk to town center. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer available for use. Off-street parking for one car with prior arrangement.

Property was perfect for us We loved the location and walked everywhere including to Galway university where my granddaughter is for this semester. Check in could be a little easier. Directions for taxi driver were very good but entrance through a driveway and courtyard was difficult at night particularly first night. Dark cloudy sky so no natural illumination

October Galway
This location for a city rental is unbeatable. Easy walking to the main city sites and pubs, local Tesco and other convenience stores, pharmacies and restaurants. And driving access to points north and west was also easy and we had wonderful day trips to Connamara, the Kylemore Abbey, Achill island the Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo. Won’t lie, it’s a bit scary getting in the narrow driveway with a larger car, but worth the off-street parking. The beds were new and comfy, kitchen well-appointed and lots of other conveniences provided. Very comfy living room. Wi-Fi worked well as some of us had to while away. Piter, the property manager is a gem and we really appreciated his going the extra mile to see to some special requests. Great city and time of year to be in Galway and be a send off point for west Ireland exploring.

Difficult to find/3 bathrooms but 1 usable shower
We were 3 couples. We spent 40 minutes searching for car park and entrance. We called the contact and he said he would meet us, finally lucked into ringing an apartment bell and found him. He helped us from then on and things smoothed out. The main floor bathroom was far from the 3rd bedroom and like the head on a sailboat. Parking entrance was very narrow and challenging for a 7 passenger van. were far

Fabulous stay in Galway - can't wait to get back
Such a fun space with living area, kitchen & plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space for all of us (5 ). Kitchen could be better stocked with some basics (salt, pepper, oil) but good set up for a small group. Excellent location with tasty pub, restaurant, cafe options within walking distance. Off street parking was perfect - finding the place was a bit tricky but once you understand, it's great. Thank you to "Peter" who met us and was very helpful & responsive via text. Will totally stay here again if/when we are back in Galway!

Wonderful location! The house is perfect for a family, group of friends, a few couples. Lots of space, everything you need, in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to the market for our food and easily walk downtown for our fun. Zero complaints. Thanks for hosting us …we want to come back asap.

Great location and comfortable
We had a great stay at the Coach house. The one big thing that needs to be improved is the check-in process. Even with very detailed instructions, it was very difficult to find the property, the keys, and to know where to park. I would hate to try and find this place in the dark. Photos of where you turn to get into property, which is behind buildings, down a narrow lane would be helpful. Overall, photos would help, we think. Thank you for the opportunity to comment! It is a very nice property.

First trip to Ireland
My husband and I stayed at the Coach House with my mother in law for six nights. We found it to be conveniently located and well appointed. We could walk to the Tesco, the Latin Quarter, the bus stop, and the West End with ease. Enjoyed many evenings of live music at The Crane Bar and found a lovely coffee shop, Barista Bus, just down the road. Piotr was so friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the bottle of wine, crackers, and Irish cheese that welcomed us. Fell in love with Ireland and hope to return soon!

Galway Getaway
Great location and a great place to stay. A 2/3-minute walk to grocery store and 2/3-minute walk to several great restaurants and pubs. Parking is available for those with a car but not necessary because the location is ideal for walking to all of the Galway attractions. We were comfortable with 5 adults and could have had 1-2 more adults with ease. I highly recommend this place. We will return soon.

Despite a minor issue with the check in process that was resolved fairly quickly, we enjoyed our stay at this Townhouse. Good location for access to central Galway with bars and restaurants within five minutes' walk. The fact that there is also parking is a bonus if travelling by car. Property is well maintained and ideal for a family or group of friends staying in Galway

Dear Guests, we've enjoyed many travels ourselves over the years and stayed in many hotels. Often great but sometimes misery when we would have preferred the comfort & privacy of our own apartment or townhouse! Putting all this into good practice in our solid and beautiful Silver Crescent Townhouse & Coach House in Galway City, we consistently offer superbly high standards to the active traveller in top notch and welcoming home-from-home environments.

We work hard to maintain the things that count – fresh & clean homes, top quality finishes, services & utilities, fine fresh bed linens, duvets & pillows, beds fully made up, fridge freshly stocked with Useful Items, and our Local Guides on where to go and what to do!

At Your Time in Ireland you will quickly settle in to get going with your activities - wonderful trips & tours, activities, explorations, excellent town walks and small adventures - out and about Galway & the West of Ireland!

Why they chose this property

Our top notch short stay options are just 5 mins away from the liveliest quarters of Town yet peaceful and quiet for a great night’s sleep.
Galway City is alive with visitors, restaurants, cafes, and unique traditional Irish pubs and live music and you will have made an excellent choice by staying with us on The Crescent.

Galway, capital city of Connacht, is a bustling, lively and creative university city that sits at the end of Lough Corrib and the River Corrib as it wends its way to the Atlantic Ocean. Long a busy merchant town with a serious maritime tradition and backdrop, Galway’s trading history can be seen in town canals, water breaks & salmon weirs, pier heads, and sea-side promenades and walkways, plus rich ancient woodlands that survive in precious pockets around the town.

Our location on The Crescent is part of this older world of Galway going back to the early 1830’s when trains ran to Clifden, and a tramline ran from Eyre Square via The Crescent to the seaside promenades of Salthill. The Coach House and our Town Apartments are contemporary treasures in our elegant old Townhouse some 160 years standing, and we do everything we can to maintain the ambience of this lovely old townhouse, accompanied by contemporary touches and features of today.

What makes this property unique

Perfect for 6 Adult Guests, you will settle quickly into a delightful and welcoming traditional Irish Townhouse - beds all made up, fridge stocked, and generous Welcome Basket of groceries in place.
Plus! -
• excellent Supermarket, Liquour & Wine Store just 2 mins away
