Charming Wooded Cottage Minutes from Downtown
Baileys on the Rocks "Arbor" Cottage is situated on a wooded lot just across the street from Lake Michigan and within walking distance to all that downtown Baileys Harbor has to offer. The cottage was completely renovated in 2012, and features so much character with it's vaulted ceilings, open floor plan, Door County field stone fire place and a bright, beautiful kitchen.
The cottage is 1 story (1,074 sq ft), so once you enter the house there are no stairs. 1 bedroom features a queen-sized bed while the other bedroom has a set of twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo.
Guests have full access to the cottage. The cottage is on a shared lot with another cottage, and while both cottages have their own separate outdoor space, we ask that you be respectful of the guests occupying the other cottage.

Bailey’s Harbor wedding

We had a great stay for a family wedding in Bailey’s Harbor. The cabin’s location was perfect for everything we needed. It was a great property, clean and had all the amenities you could ever want. 5 stars all the way around.

Magical cottage on the quiet side of Door County

The cottage was cozy and quaint with lots of amenities. It was easy to locate and is close to popular attractions and lots of hiking trails. The kitchen with island and lots of appliances helped us cook delicious, homemade meals. The fireplace kept us cozy warm. Cottage felt private, being tucked away off of the main street.

Clean, close & comfortable

Our Thanksgiving stay at the Arbor Cottage exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, it was CLEAN! If I come into a rental and have to spend my vacation time cleaning because I’m skeeved-out, not gonna be happy. This place was immaculate. Second, being located on the “quiet side” of DoCo was perfect for us. A quick drive and you can be on the bay side with lots to do in Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay. Granted this time of year things slow down all over the peninsula, so if you visit in summer, there will be plenty of action right out the front door. Lastly, the cottage was so comfortable. The interior is thoughtfully curated with lovely furniture and decor. Open concept for gathering in the kitchen, dining and living room. Nicely appointed kitchen for meal prep. Lots of games, books and puzzles for all ages. Jamie, our host, was a dream to work with. She was very responsive and helpful in all of our interactions. The Arbor Cottage is the standard by which all others will be judged. We will definitely be back.

Arbor cottage

The cottage is lovely. It is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Anything a guest might need for a perfect stay is provided. It looks s also a great location! This is my at least my 4th stay at the cottage. I’m looking forward to returning again!!

Short stay

We would have loved to stay longer but only had time for 2 nights. Perfect location - walkable to restaurants and very short drive to Door Shakespeare. Nice house with great outdoor spaces. Very clean and quiet.

Fantastic Place!

We stayed here for a long weekend in the fall - two couples. Moonsail Vacations was very easy to work with, and the checkin process was smooth. The house is clean and comfortable, close to town but on a nice quiet street. We wished the weather outside were warmer so that we could use the cute patio! The furnace broke during our stay (!) and Pam was super prompt in addressing this problem, so that we could continue enjoying our vacation with minimal interruption. Overall, would highly recommend this property and company

Gorgeous Home, Perfect Location, Attentive Hosts

Pam was absolutely wonderful to work with, and we loved staying at her home! Everything was beautiful, and very clean. Check in was easy (self check) and we arrived to a very clean home. The home was spacious, and our kids loved the yard and we all loved sitting by the stove during the Snow Squall! The home is gorgeous but the only thing that may outshine it is the location! it's just a few minute walk from downtown Sister Bay, and is situated in the heart of the Door County area. I would highly recommend staying here!

Charming and updated!

We loved this cottage in Baileys Harbor. The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants, the DC Brewery, coffee shop and water. The cottage is nestled in the trees so even though you have houses near by, you have plenty of privacy and you can enjoy the beautiful views from all the gorgeous large picture windows - the master has beautiful cathedral ceilings and skylights, as does the kitchen/living room. The house is filled with light and so cheerfully decorated! It was very clean, and everything is updated and high quality… the appliances are new, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, a clean updated bathroom with good water pressure, and very comfy beds with super soft sheets. Clearly the hosts take very good care of this house. The fireplace was tricky but the host, Pam, was super nice and quick to respond to all our questions. We will be back! 100%

Cozy cottage

The cottage was very nice. Surrounded by mature cedars and moss-covered rocks near the heart of Baileys Harbor. All points in Door County are easily accessible from this location. We were very happy with this choice.

This is a beautifully maintained cottage. Such a relaxing vibe. Plenty of room in the open floor plan for our family of 5 to relax and enjoy each other after exploring DC. It was a nice location close to beaches and restaurants. This was our first time staying on the "quite side" of the peninsula and it did not disappoint!

Great place in a great town

Pam was great and the place was perfect for family . Baileys harbor is perfect. And the house is a short walk to brewery, coffee shop restaurants and the water. We hope to go back and stay again in the future. Highly recommended
