Functional with potential
A group of us stayed here for a local conference and it was sufficient for our needs. It was nice to have a space to be together vs. a hotel room. That said, the house is advertised as “newly remodeled” and the pictures show a bright, clean, “newer” house which is not what we experienced. The house has potential and has had some upgrades over time but is older with a small kitchen, it needed a deep clean (walls, floors and baseboards, etc) and to be “finished” as it has random screws in the wall and decor, parts of old bathroom fixtures next to new ones, and the backyard is dirt and dead grass- usable for an animal but not where you’d want to hang out. The bedrooms were sufficient.
Our biggest issue was the lack of communication or a warning about the front trees that leaked sap all over the ground and cars. Our shoes were sticky and both our cars in the driveway were affected. It looked like it had rained hot honey on the sides of our cars which required us to get them cleaned and still the inside door seal sticks. We reached out to management and are still waiting for any response and resolution.
