About this property
Heart of the Highlands with a Country Vibe! Large backyard.
A comfy historic home all to yourself, right in the heart of Louisville's best neighborhood: The Highlands and Bardstown Road.
Perfect escape in the Highlands for couples or up to seven people who want to explore Louisville.
We try our best to keep our place allergy free, by not allowing pets. Service animals welcome though!!
The space:
Stay on the ground /second floor of our charming modernized historic home.
The main bedroom is cozy and has its own en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet.
Our living room has big comfy couches and an easy chair to read, enjoy quiet time, or watch TV on our big screen. An extra guest can sleep on the futon ( mattress) in the living room if needed. There's an extra half bath on the first floor too, with toilet and sink.
Our second floor office has a double size day bed, as well as access to another full bathroom. ( Toilet, sink, shower/tub)
There is also a second bedroom with queen size bed upstairs.
More about the home: We have a full lkitchen + dining area perfect for cooking or co-working. We have plenty of nonperishable food stuffs in our pantry that you can use if you like as well. Washer and dryer too at your service!
This is our home so some of our personal items are stored here, but most of the shelves and cupboards are cleared out for you to store anything you need and feel perfectly at home.
Guest access
The backyard grassy area is a shared space with patio furniture and plenty of shade. You are welcome to hang out.
The backyard is in the process of being changed into a bird, butterfly and bee sanctuary- so bring your binoculars and enjoy the sightings ! ( even without ).
Other things to note
The laundry room is a shared space at times, but arrangements for private use can be made .

What makes this property unique
Our property location is excellent , right in the heart of the Highlands, and being able to walk everywhere to restaurants, bars and small boutiques. A gate in the backyard makes the market, Baxter movie theaters and restaurants available by foot. The backyard is beautiful and shaded, and is perfect for outside dining in the summer.
