We really enjoyed our stay in this cute bungalow. The neighborhood was really nice and it was convenient to everything we wanted to do in Durham over the holidays. The host was very welcoming and we had a very nice time!
This is our second stay here and once again Andrea is easy to contact and the home is very clean and well taken care of. Definitely will use again in the future when visiting Durham. Nice area to stay!
The house is beautiful, spacious, well appointed, situated conveniently to Duke and downtown, and in a lovely established neighborhood, perfect for a long evening stroll. We felt right at home throughout our visit and Andrea was an excellent host! Wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay again!!
This little house is just as described…cute and quirky but super cozy! Extremely clean with very comfortable master bed. Great little porch and fenced in yard for our small dogs. House had everything we needed.
We loved just thinking about the history of what this house had to say with the current layout and what it probably started out as.
Host was very responsive and checkin and checkout was a breeze. Loved our stay!!
This property is awesome. The location was just perfect as we were there for a college visit at Duke for my son and it was so close to everything. Andrea was great, very responsive and extremely helpful. Truly felt like a home away from home; so quaint and comfortable. Loved it!
Beautifully decorated, modern yet comfortable furnishings, thoughtful toiletries made our stay at the quirky cottage really nice. The deck was a nice sunny spot to relax, have our morning coffee , and watch birds. Fenced in yard was good for our dog to roam around - although we kept an eye on her. Neighborhood is quiet and nice to walk around - there is a park nearby as well.
Charming cottage, very comfortable. Impeccably cleaned. Excellent location. Gorgeous yard. We sat on the porch at night and listened to a symphony of birds, frogs, and a big owl in a tree across the street. We stayed with our two dogs and they were happy. Note that the fence is a split rail, so for pets they will need to stay on a leash in the yard. Hosts were easy to contact and very knowledgeable about the area. Property is described as quirky. Don’t be dissuaded. The only thing we saw was that there are small elevation changes between some rooms and a bigger change to get into the bathroom with the large tub off the utility room. This may be a problem for people with significant mobility issues. Otherwise, this is a wonderful and well stocked place. They even had a dog bed and ball for us in the living room. I would definitely Italy stay here or with this host again.

About the host
Hosted by Andrea Douglass
I am a pharmacist at Duke Hospital who stumbled into the world of property management and real estate. It all began when I started renting out my personal properties as short-term rentals. I quickly fell in love with managing properties and interacting with guests, which led me to obtain my real estate license. As my passion for this field grew, I expanded my services to manage other people's properties as well. The business became so busy that I had to reduce my hours at Duke Hospital to dedicate more time to it. I am deeply passionate about traveling and exploring different properties and areas, which fuels my love for this profession even more. I am dedicated to providing exceptional service to both property owners and guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all involved.
