Escape from reality and book yourself an authentic log cabin for your next adventure! This Beaver Lake-front retreat offers the perfect location to use as a base camp without all the frills, especially if you are fishing, glamping, hunting, or enjoying other outdoor activities in the Ozarks. Venture out a bit to discover a variety of attractions within 20 miles of your door including Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down Music Theatre, and downtown Eureka Springs for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Enter the cabin through the modest kitchen which has plenty of countertop space for cooking up the day's catch! Enjoy simple meals in the dining space. Lofty ceilings give this cabin a more spacious feel even though sleeping arrangements between the primary bedroom and the large sleeping loft upstairs are cozy. There is a game table and a comfy reading chair as well. Please note that the loft is only available when booking for more than two guests.

A patio door in the dining area leads out to the back deck that faces the lake. Sit out on the porch swings and watch the sunrise over beautiful Beaver Lake, or roast marshmallows under the stars in the side yard and firepit area as you relax into the night after a day of lake fun.

Additional amenities include a window air-conditioning unit that cools the entire cabin in summer and central heat in winter.

Dirty and broken

Filthy dirty sock, cigarette butts, dust and hair everywhere. Kitchen sink faucet broke. Broken kitchen drawers. No tv service, no phone signal, no wifi.I took pictures and told Vacasa. Drove 7 hrs so couldnt leave till next morning due to dangerous roads. They didnt refund all my money just one day. Terrible business. Not my fault we couldnt stay. It was our anniversary.

Wasnt expecting a lot and still disappointed

If you're on the lamb from the law and need warmth to collect yourself then this is the place for that! It was not marked by any address/mailbox, no sign saying charlies cabin! Google maps and waze takes you a mile passed it so literally in the dark searching for it. Most of the chairs at the dining room table were rickety we afraid to sit in them. The kitchen faucet was broke. Couldnt read the temp for the oven to even at what temp youre cooking at. The wooden bed was already broken so we put the 4 if us in the two other beds. The cable nor the dvd player was not working and it wasnt like you could message the owner about anything since it was a dead zone.. for the price it was definitely a let down. My hubs rented it for us for thanksgiving so wasnt my pick in the first place.. my two grandparents, my hubs myself and our 4 & 7yr old were all on this trip.. definitely needs maintenance! We left 24hrs early!

Nice and quiet, but needs improvement.

The location is good and great for star-gazing. It is very quiet and serene. To get to the water you will have to trek down a steep hill and try to avoid the stickers and thorns near the bottom. The cabin itself is nice, but a little outdated. During our stay, we couldn't get the satellite or DVD player to work, half of the light bulbs were out and one was flickering like a strobe light. The bath tub must be clogged because it drained very very slowly, so much so that none of us wanted to take showers or baths. There was dog hair all over the couches and floor. The kitchen sink faucet handle will pop right off if you pull up instead of push back. The upstairs beds are nice but springy and you can hear everything going on up there from the master bedroom. The outside deck is nice with comfortable swinging benches. Overall it was okay, but definitely needs updated and cleaned a little better.

No wifi family trip

Location was perfect. There is absolutely no service with some phone carriers (we had Verizon). There is no tv service just a dvd player but overall it was nice not to be connected.

Lakeside Cabin

Clean cabin. Beautiful lakeside view. We enjoyed sitting on the swings and just relaxing. Great place for a weekend get-a-way! We never could get the cable/satellite to work. Be aware GPS may not take you far enough down the road to actual location...... we had to drive further. Biggest issue we had - was absolutely no cell service. (TMobile)

Outdates

Outdated property. Tube TV from 1990. No internet. Fireplace filled the house with smoke. Mice kept us up all night.

Cabin in the woods

It was cute. Cabin would rate much better if minor maintenance was done.

Fishing Cabin

The facility was very nice and peaceful, access was good for being down a county road. The only issue was my grandchildren would have liked to watch some kind of television as nothing was working no satellite nor a working DVD. However minor issue when you have family to enjoy quality time. Would use again, thank you.

Charlie’s overpriced cabin

Had to check out early because of issues with insect bites from sleeping in main bedroom. Gas grill was so nasty we couldn’t use it. Cooking pots and skillets old and worn out. Direct TV didn’t work, said the bill needed to be paid. When we arrived the trash from previous use was overflowing and strewn about. The remote location and boat dock were the only redeeming qualities.

Quiet, peaceful, tucked away on Lake Beaver!

The cabin is everything expressed in the listing. My boyfriend and I loved our little getaway on the lake. Lake access was good, able to drive down to a parking spot to fish. Pictures didnt convey how many trees around the property but it was a good surprise. Would definetely book it again.
