If you’re looking for a bit more adrenaline, the ski slopes of Stowe Mountain Resort are just under 10 miles away.

Right at home, enjoy morning coffee and a tree-lined view on your expansive deck when it’s warm enough, or spend cozy winter mornings sipping hot cocoa in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The main living area boasts vaulted ceilings, warm hardwood floors, and an open layout, making it ideal for gathering together. The chef will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen with a full suite of appliances, including a double oven, and little helpers can perch on the barstools to help. There’s room for everyone around the large dining table at mealtime, and the dishwasher makes for easy cleanup.

After a day of adventures, relax in either of the two spacious living rooms. Entertainment options include three TVs, free cable, and WiFi. Or, grab a board game and gather for more family time. Keep dinner prep simple on the gas grill or even more straightforward with a visit to one of many local restaurants in the town center, around a mile and a half away. Great home! Great location!

Our family loved staying at this home! We had an issue with a broken toilet seat and the issue was quickly fixed and we greatly appreciated that. The dining table was plenty big enough for the 12 of us to eat our meals and play games at night. All areas were clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this home!

Perfect ski home base

The location was 15-20 mins from the Mountain. Super clean. The check in was easy as could be. They had the perfect space for our group to have a kids hangout and an adult hangout. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Plenty of firewood to have a fire each night. Bedrooms were a good size each. Could not have been happier here.

Great Friends Ski Weekend

We had a great time at the house. Plently of space for everyone with 6 bedrooms. Was also nice to be able to put a car in a garage spot with the snowstorm. There was good kitchen to cook meals and plently of seating for eating together. Make sure you have 4-wheel drive for this house as it requires going down a mud road which turns uphill.

Good - not great

First of all the listing is incorrect— it states 4 bathrooms but there were only 3 available to us. Big disappointment since we booked based on the number of bathrooms/bedrooms in the listing. The property management company was a disappointment. When we read other reviews that mentioned no supplies provided,I contacted the management company—they informed me that we would have to bring our own toilet paper, paper goods, dish detergent, hand soap etc. Which we did- but we were happy to find that they were already provided in the house. Nice surprise but it would have been better not to have to pack and bring along all that stuff. Upon arrival, we were 45 minutes waiting in the dooryard to get into the house because the cleaners were not done on time. As far as cleanliness- it was surface clean but could use a good deep clean — baseboards, heating units, corners, kitchen sink under the mats etc — the Things that take a closer look and extra time could use better care. On a good note - the house location is beautiful. Lots of woods around and a good road for walking. It is also a great gathering place for a group of friends and/or family. Kitchen is open, lots of seating. I would suggest some blanket throws/quilts for snuggling on the couches

Home away from home

Home is amazing, highly well-appointed for all needs. From starter bath/shampoo, dish soap, paper towels to comfortable well-kept furniture throughout and full kitchen supplies. Two main floor gathering spaces for fireplace or tv viewing, lots of eating areas and great views. The outside porch must be great any season! We were there in winter & snow. Plenty of pillows, bedding and comfortable beds along with towel sets in each guest room and bath. A third gathering/living space on the lower level has two bedrooms, family room and full bath. Makes for all kinds of family activity on either floor. Stock includes games, books & child books. Yet another downstairs area has family room, bath and bedroom. Makes for easy multi-family enjoyment. The photos don’t do the space justice. It is quite spacious, many lighting choices, lots of natural light with wooded views, and even little host details like a hardware drawer and a multi phone-charger station! The last couple of roads to enter are hard packed dirt road. We had rain and snow and got in okay w/ a front wheel and an all-wheel drive. (The 4-wheel drive wasn’t needed) The driveway is also packed dirt road, about 800 feet. We used BabyQuip to deliver crib, stroller & such. At the foot of Cady Hill Road and Moscow Road, there is a convenience store with a range of supplies you may need during a visit. Vacasa & VRBO were helpful. We had a few questions and always received fast, helpful and courteous replies.

Looks amazing, but...

Our family was really excited to stay at this property. The location was perfect and the sleeping arrangements were perfect! However, there is nowhere to take out your trash and the previous renter's trash was left in the garage, outside of one of the sleeping areas. I cannot even begin to talk about the stench (hot, humid July in a non vented, non AC garage). It took us several attempts and phone calls to finally get someone to help us and even then, it took them a few days to come to take care of the trash. Then, when we asked where to put our trash, we were instructed to leave it in the garage as well. Disgusting. If you're going to rent your property, you should have an outside storage area for trash. We've been renting properties all over Vermont for the last 5-7 years and have never had this issue before. The floors were disgusting as well. On our first day there we were walking around barefoot and the bottom of our feet were black after walking around for about an hour. The shower curtains in all the bathrooms were black at the bottom (the cleaning company did come replace them for us). The grill was unusable and when the cleaning company came out to try and clean it, they couldn't and told us to use tin foil on the grill if we used it (they provided the foil to us), but we never used it. I could list all the things they did not leave us, but I am running out of space. I would really look elsewhere before booking this place.
