Place was very nice and clean , the check in was a bit hassle since they send wrong code for the lock and since the connection is very bad for cell phones we had to drive several miles to get connected to host and get a new code.
We had a good stay here! Loved the big deck for star gazing or drinking coffee in the morning and listening to birds. If you want a lot of restaurants, then Three Rivers is probably for you. We wanted more of a cabin experience. Roads are windy, and there was a detour for road construction. When fixed, it will be very convenient. 6 adult friends stayed here with two beds being shared, and then we used a daybed and a trundle. Clean house and responsive host. Just be aware—you are in the country, so lean into the things that made you pick a more remote cabin than one in town. Eat at Pinehurst Grill.
The house is clean, and the little kitchen is pleasant for cooking. However, one of the bedsheets had many dead bed bugs, so my friend ended up sleeping on the blanket instead. Additionally, the online listing information did not match the actual house setup. There were only two double beds and one twin bed. My other friend had to sleep on the living room couch, which couldn't be pulled out into a bed. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay.
This is a very nice, secluded property that's easily accessible from CA-245, which had been undergoing major construction until the day of our arrival, so was very nice. The upstairs loft bedroom can get a little warm (there's no whole-house A/C, and the provided units had to work very hard to keep up on one of the hottest weeks of the year, but it was tolerable), and is open (no walls) to the rest of the house, but is comfortable. The downstairs bath isn't all that convenient for the up bedroom, but still very comfortable and functional. The master BR/Bath was great, and the wall unit there seemed to keep up with the heat just fine. Overall, nice property and easy to work with host (thanks!)

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The dishes and silverware were dirty so we didn’t eat there. The curtains were hanging off the rods. Bugs in the tracks of the sliding glass doors and not just a couple. Laundry machines were so dirty. I would not recommend to anyone.

Cabin in the woods
The house is in a nice setting but renter beware. when we arrived it was 45 degrees outside and it was also 45 degrees inside. The house does not have a book explaining how things work. There are two wall heaters which were both turned off that have remote controls and took us awhile to figure out. Once we figured out how to turn on it took all night for the temperature in the house to get above 60 degrees. There is a wood burning stove in the kitchen/dining area - and if you want those areas to be warm you must use it (though we used the last of the wood supply). Also the water pressure is such that when the rinse cycle is used on the washing machine no water will come out of any sink or shower (we discovered while someone was showering). Once the rinse cycle is done the water returns. Finally the highway the house is located on is closed 2 miles north of the house so getting to Kings Canyon is a much further drive. Again this would have been helpful information to have before we arrived.
