Cozy little get away

Perfect spot for a cozy getaway from life. We had a good time just enjoying nature, fishing on the lake snd animal watching. Perfect for anyone looking to unwind and relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend. Host was awesome and very accommodating

Fishing escape

This is a great piece of property and very beautiful. The entry is about 1/2 mile of huge oak tree lined driveway. The grounds are park like. At one time it appears that perhaps RVs and camping was done since there are electrical outlets under some trees. The pond is obviously good fishing, there is a picture of a 11.2 lb bass on the wall. I caught 5 bass and one ginormous bream, easily casting from the shore. I would recommend this place to anyone that really wants privacy since there is nothing close to the house. It is very quiet and peaceful. The house is quite adequate although I have to admit the beds were just a bit worn for my old back. I give the owner 6 stars for being a nice guy. I had shut the back door in a rain shower just a bit too quickly and hit myself in the behind with the door window. The window cracked and then shattered as it was safety glass. We cleaned it up and sealed the opening with trach bags and tape. The owner could not have been nicer about the whole issue and the $59 damage insurance paid for the glass replacement with no problems whatsoever. I would certainly stay here again and would use a boat to better fish the pond.

Upon arrival you’re met with picturesque scenery. The property is great for a romantic getaway or general unwinding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Will be going back
