The palapa-covered deck offers year-round enjoyment. This amazing outdoor space is outfitted with a cedar bar top railing, an outdoor dining area, and a private 7-person hot tub. Welcome to Galveston Island, the perfect mix between coastal relaxation and thrilling beach fun! As soon as you arrive on the island, you'll come across miles of beautiful sandy beaches, a port for cruise ships, a beautifully restored historic old town, and a distinct Southern charm.
This prime location is 0.5 miles from Palm Beach, which is located just across 3005 on Las Palmas St (walk on beach access). Drive on beach access is about a mile away at Beach Access Point #16, Sea Shell Beach Pocket Park #3 and Jamaica Beach which is located 3 miles West on 3005. The City of Jamaica Beach also features a nice public park along with a public pool that is family friendly and also has a lap lane (please visit the city website for cost to access the pool as well as the pool hours).
Award-winning Waterman’s Restaurant is a 5-minute stroll, and popular Mario’s Pizza is less than a mile away. Galveston Island State Park is practically in your backyard and is a paradise for birding, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing. Downtown Galveston is a short 12-mile drive where you'll find a variety of dining options, shopping, live music, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier.
THINGS TO KNOW & HOUSE RULES
We look forward to hosting you and your group but we have a few house rules and the must be followed. Please review before you make your reservation.
Minimum Age: Guests must be at least 25 years of age to reserve the home, and adult guests may not rent the home on behalf of underage guests. The person making the reservation MUST be in attendance for the duration of the reservation.
This is not a party house. Prom groups, disruptive groups/parties, events, and open-invitation gatherings are not allowed. Underage drinking, loud music or other disturbances to the neighbors is not permitted.
Maximum Occupancy: The maximum occupancy is 11 guests. Exceeding the number of guests listed in your reservation is prohibited, as it may compromise safety during an emergency.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: We’re happy to accommodate early check-ins and/or late check-outs when possible. Approval is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Without prior approval, additional charges for early check-in or late check-out will apply. To request approval, please contact us in advance so we can coordinate smart lock access and housekeeping arrangements.
Pets: Our house welcomes up to 2 small dogs per reservation, up to 20lbs each. Pets must be included in the reservation, and the pet fee is to be paid prior to arrival. Pet waste is not to be left in the yard, please bag pet waste and place it in an outdoor trash bin. If you bring a pet, a pet fee is required to cover the additional cleaning necessary to address pet hair and dander, which may affect individuals with allergies. Pets should always be kept on a leash or securely contained when outdoors or unattended. This is important for their safety, the protection of local wildlife, and to preserve the natural balance of the nearby state park.
Additionally, pets must not bark / whine excessively and it is highly recommended that you contain your pets while away from the house. As pet owners, we understand that pets can get anxious and cause damage in unfamiliar places when their owners are away. Failure to include your pets in your reservation will result in a pet fee at check-out, along with any additional cleaning fees, if applicable. As a reminder, guests are responsible for any / all damage caused by their guests and/or pets during their stay.
Smoking: Our house is non-smoking while inside or on the decks. If you must smoke, please do so on the ground floor and dispose of waste in an outside trash bin. Smoking of any kind inside the house is strictly prohibited, violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee.
Parking: Driveway parking is available for 4 vehicles. Parking in the grass or on the street is prohibited.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is available for your enjoyment during your stay. To keep it in excellent condition, please adhere to the posted rules. Remember to shower and wear clean swimwear before entering the hot tub. Sunscreen, body lotions, other personal care products, and excessive sand can cloud the water, disrupting the pH balance, and can damage the filter. Guests will be responsible for any additional costs to drain and refill the hot tub and/or replace the filter if necessary upon departure. Please turn down the temperature when the hot tub is not in use, replace and latch the cover. Additionally, please do not allow unattended children on the deck, as the hot tub lid does have latches but does not lock.
Damage Protection: The total cost of your reservation for this property includes a damage protection plan for $59 (non-refundable), if you prefer to pay a refundable damage deposit of $500 please send an inquiry and we will be happy to adjust the reservation to accommodate your request.
Garage is private and is not accessible to guests.
