Brooke and Dan had a great visit. They came for a potential job opportunity and to tour Hayward. The house was immaculate and the perfect location to explore downtown.
We were 4 adults staying here for a long weekend. This house is about 2 blocks from downtown Hayward. The house is very clean. We loved the king beds. Communication with Michelle, the host was good. The only suggestion I would make is the guest should be able to put dishes in the dishwasher before leaving. Every vacation rental I have ever stayed in is this way. The host wants you to put the dishes away. Well the dishwasher runs for 2 1/2 hours so that can be difficult. Everything else was top notch!
It was awesome! Everything was great! Just a thought. Maybe have some folding chairs in the closet. We tended to sit around the kitchen table, but there were only 4 chairs and there were 5 of us. Just thinking also if you are renting that out for Birkie, that would probably be a full house and could use some extra chairs. Just a thought though! What a great place you have! We enjoyed staying there! Thank you so much 😊
We had a blast staying here. The location is truly top-notch in Hayward. In easy walking distance for even a 3 year old to get almost anywhere we wanted to go! Great house, new, clean, and comfortable.
Great property. Very clean. Location was nice, close to downtown. Glad to walk to town and not deal with parking during holiday weekend. Overall wonderful time. Only issue was we couldn’t get the TV to stream anything which was a bummer for our son but just a minor thing and no other negatives to post.
The house is newly remodeled and is truly lovely. Very comfortable for our various groups of family as overflow for our lakefront home. The location is a super short walk to all your Hayward faves - Coop’s, West’s, Tremblay’s, and now Main Street Tacos! Amenities were great - an outdoor grill would be a great summer addition.
The property is very clean & beautifully decorated. Short walk to downtown Hayward. Much nicer than staying in local hotels. I would highly recommend it.
Newly remodeled home. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive when we had a minor issue with a broken keypad lock...they were onsite to help us in 10 minutes. We look forward to staying there again!
We had a great time staying at the house, it is super cozy, great location & was perfect for our family (3 kids ages 13, 13 & 12)! Super convenient to walk to Coop’s for awesome pizza & a short drive to the hockey rink!

Have lived in Hayward over 35 years. Raised 3 children now have 3 grandsons
Why they chose this property
Older home in the down town area that I knew could have wonderful potential. In demoing this house found out that the original builders in 1910 came to the Hayward community to open the telephone company. Edwin Harmon with his wife and two adopted children. Original hard wood flooring stamped with his name from Davenport Iowa Montgomery wards
What makes this property unique
Love being able to walk from this home to all the Hayward events from Birkie, fat tire, Muskey fest etc
