Villa Forte suite 3, a centrally located apartment in a newly renovated 1924 Villa. This quiet, private apartment features a bright and spacious bedroom with a new, carefully chosen queen size bed, blackout curtains and a closet. Enjoy high ceilings, original hardwood floors, large windows and plenty of natural light throughout. The cozy living room offers a comfy sofa for lounging after a busy day and a Smart TV. In addition to central air, you will also be able to enjoy new, remote controlled ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully stocked with a full size stainless steel fridge, stainless sink, basic kitchen necessities (pots, pans, glasses utensils, paper products, etc. ) an electric cooktop, a microwave, smoothie mixer and a toaster. Last but not least-- included is a Keurig to get you going. If you need more power in your engine--- do make yourself an espresso with our traditional Italian coffee pot, after all, you are at an Italian villa.
Like to hike? Villa Forte is close to several trails for all levels and Peaks of Otter Mountain is just an hour away. If you prefer skiing Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre is nearby or take a quick hour drive to Wintergreen Resort.
Villa Forte is the perfect place to escape and recharge after taking in all that Lynchburg has to offer. Our goal is to provide a 5 star Italian hospitality experience.

An Italian in Lynchburg. I'm an Italian teacher and interpreter. Born near Rome, Italy. I grew up going back and forth between Italy and the US. After living in Italy for a while, I came back to this wonderful country for a "year"...I thought. That was 33 years ago. My husband Mario and I recently moved to Lynchburg to be close to our kids and to bring the abandoned house, soon to become Villa Forte to life. My friend and I did all the demo - only in America can two 52 year old homeschool moms attempt this! In fact, this Italianate home is the result of a two year overhaul. Hey, Rome wasn't built in one day! When I'm not “bringing down the house,” I enjoy reading, exercising, theater, baking (experimenting with gluten free Italian recipes) and feeding people. Hospitality is our native tongue. We enjoy making people feel welcome and at home. Villa Forte provides us the opportunity to do just that. My life motto is “live intentionally.”
